Our 3rd Annual Mission 44 charity ride was yet again a success. Thank you to all that participated. Sovereign Sons MC. It was cloudy and threatened to rain but we didn't get any rain. We had brothers from Georgia and Texas show up. It was an awesome time. Again thank you to everyone that supported us. The Hangar Bar and Grill always supports us.

On January 4, 2024 Coweta County Investigator and K-9 Handler Eric Minix age 31 was killed in the line of duty doing what he loved. Eric was a Husband and Father of 3 young girls. He was passionate about his job and finally received his dream job of being on the crime suppression unit patrolling the interstate. The night of January 4 Eric had located a stolen vehicle and attempted to stop it and the suspect took off. The chase continued into Alabama where officers had set stop sticks. As this disabled the vehicle, Eric exited his vehicle to perform a felony stop. An officer from Lanett Alabama approached to assist with the felony stop and tragically struck Eric at a high rate of speed, causing his untimely death. Prior to Eric going to the Coweta County sheriffs office he was my partner at the Tyrone Police Department and a fellow motorcycle rider. I have began doing photography and editing and this picture is one I did in honor of him. After posting, I was encouraged by a fellow BLACKOUT brother to send this through the national board to be used as a national morning picture for BLACKOUT. This was not my intention of the picture, but would be a great honor to Eric, and all our Brothers and Sisters killed in the line of duty as this photo was taken from his funeral.
