Upper Turtle Lake District

Upper Turtle Lake District Lake neighbors working together to maintain, protect, and improve Upper Turtle Lake. Many lakes near us have been infected, but so far Upper Turtle Lake is not.

We regularly sample our lake water and work with the State of Wisconsin to assess and monitor water quality. We're involved in efforts to stop the spread of aquatic invasive species, especially Eurasian Water Milfoil, Rusty Crayfish, and Zebra Mussels. See how you can help! We're conducting bass tournaments/barbecues in hopes of harvesting more bass, thus promoting the growth of the walleye population. And much more!

The Upper Turtle Lake District Annual Meeting is this Saturday, August 15th at 11 am at Sparetime Bowl in their meeting room. The 2027 Budget and a Commissioner position will be voted on.
