Check out this unique fundraiser from our friends at Rotary Club of Forest Hills! You’ll help raise important dollars for organizations like ours and help the environment, all while saving money and protecting your own home, house and community!

What are the benefits of a rain barrel?

Save Money and Water: Using rain water instead of tap water for outdoor use, reduces your water bill.

Protect Your Municipality Water Supply: Collecting water in your rain barrel slows it down from rushing into local lakes and rivers. This helps decrease storm runoff and the level of pollution going into local watersheds.

Better Gardens: Improve the growth and vitality of your plants by feeding them rain water instead of tap water that has many chemicals including chlorine and fluoride.

Reduce Risk of Basement Flooding: Disconnecting downspouts from your sewer drain and connecting them to your rain barrel reduces the risk of basement flooding. If your rain barrel begins to get full there is an overflow hose that carries water away from your house.

CABARET SPOTLIGHT: MARIA YEZOVICH ('98)

There are few people more synonymous with the Alumni Cabaret than Maria Yezovich, Class of 1998.

Remarkably, Maria has never missed an Alumni Cabaret, making this year's 20th Anniversary performance her twentieth consecutive appearance. For two decades, she has helped make the event a celebration of talent, friendship, and the enduring impact of Woodland Hills Performing Arts.

In addition to her career with The Yezovich-McGrath Group at Baird Private Wealth Management, Maria continues to share her love of music as a member of the band Walkin' Rosie. Whether performing on local stages or returning to the Woodland Hills auditorium each year, she remains a passionate supporter of the arts and the community that helped shape her.

This year's performance was dedicated to Mr. Tom Crone, whose influence on generations of Woodland Hills performers continues to be felt today.

Thank you, Maria, for twenty years of talent, dedication, and unwavering support of the Alumni Cabaret. Your commitment to this tradition has helped make it the special event it is today.

CABARET SPOTLIGHT: HAYDEN CRUM ('26) & ALEXIA ABERNATHY ('26)

One of the highlights of this year's Alumni Cabaret was seeing members of the newest graduating class take the stage just one day after commencement.

Hayden Crum, Class of 2026, recently graduated after participating in 10 Woodland Hills productions and serving as a student intern, director, and acting coach for the past two junior high shows. This fall, she will attend Temple University to pursue a BA in Theater and continue her journey in the performing arts.

Joining her was fellow Class of 2026 graduate Alexia Abernathy, who has appeared in numerous Woodland Hills productions throughout her school career. Alexia will be attending CCAC and hopes to continue performing in stage productions in the years ahead.

Both Hayden and Alexia represent the next generation of Woodland Hills performers, carrying forward a tradition of creativity, dedication, and love for the arts.

Thank you, Hayden and Alexia, for sharing your talents with us and for helping make our 20th Anniversary Alumni Cabaret such a special celebration. We wish you both the very best as you begin your next chapters.

CABARET SPOTLIGHT: MARIA COSTA ('07)

This year's Alumni Cabaret marked a special milestone for Maria Costa, Class of 2007. While many know Maria for her incredible stage presence as a dancer, this was her first time taking on a solo vocal performance at the Alumni Cabaret.

A Woodland Hills performing arts veteran, Maria appeared in Seussical, Pippin, and Les Misérables during her high school years and later returned to the stage in the alumni productions of Tommy and The Rocky Horror Show. Following her appearance in Rocky Horror last year, friends and fellow performers Maria Yezovich, Michelle (Spynda) Pistella, and even her favorite karaoke DJ, Brooke Tate, encouraged her to step outside her comfort zone and share her singing voice.

With the support of vocal teacher Michelle Pistella, Maria did just that, proving that the voice had been there all along.

Thank you, Maria, for sharing your talent, your courage, and your love of performing with us during this special 20th Anniversary Alumni Cabaret. We can't wait to see you back on stage with your fellow alumni again this summer.

CABARET SPOTLIGHT: JAMIE GLASSER ('97) & MIA DAMICO ('24)

One of the things that makes the Alumni Cabaret so special is seeing different generations of Woodland Hills performers share the stage, and this year's pairing of Jamie Glasser and Mia Damico was a perfect example.

Jamie, Class of 1997, has been a cornerstone of the Alumni Cabaret for two decades, helping organize the event while continuing to perform and support Woodland Hills Performing Arts. A school librarian at Pittsburgh CAPA and member of both the Woodland Hills Foundation and Performing Arts Guild boards, Jamie has spent countless hours helping preserve and strengthen the performing arts tradition in Woodland Hills.

Mia, Class of 2024, is entering her third year at the University of South Carolina, where she is majoring in Marketing and Management with a concentration in Digital Media Arts. She is a member of the Honors College, serves as Vice President of Recruitment for Phi Mu, participates in numerous campus organizations, and balances it all with work-study responsibilities.

Thank you, Jamie and Mia, for sharing the stage and helping make our 20th Anniversary Alumni Cabaret a celebration of both tradition and the next generation of Woodland Hills talent.

CABARET SPOTLIGHT: ROBBY STEINER ('24) & BOBBY CARR ('17)

This year's Alumni Cabaret featured a performance from two Woodland Hills performers who have continued to keep the arts at the center of their lives long after graduation.

Robby Steiner, Class of 2024, is currently pursuing a BFA in Acting at Ohio University. Woodland Hills audiences may remember him from roles including Pinocchio in Shrek, Princeton in Avenue Q, the Cat in the Hat in Seussical, Wadsworth in Clue, and Jack/White Knight in Wonderland. Robby has continued performing since graduation and will appear in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat this summer.

Bobby Carr, Class of 2017, may be one of the most familiar faces in Woodland Hills Performing Arts. In addition to serving as the Woodland Hills Band Director and Marching Band Director, Bobby is also the Junior Musical Director, Assistant Coach of the Varsity Rifle Team, and a key member of the Spring Musical production team. Whether he's directing students, designing props, or leading musicians, Bobby continues to invest countless hours into helping the next generation of Woodland Hills performers succeed.

Together, Robby and Bobby represent the lasting impact of Woodland Hills Performing Arts and the many ways alumni continue to give back to the programs that helped shape them.

Thank you both for helping make our 20th Anniversary Alumni Cabaret such a memorable celebration.
