We are located in Western Massachusetts and our vision is a simple one, to make Christmas magical, one family at a time. Families who otherwise will not be able to provide a Christmas to their children this year. Families just like yours and mine that for various reasons are living in desperate times and are working just to survive. Hoping for just a moment to breathe and praying that they will ge
t their feet back on the ground and to be able to provide security for their family once again. At True Christmas we know and understand that to these families Christmas brings on a myriad of emotions and many of them are not positive in nature. We select families, one at a time that are struggling to get food on their tables, they cannot focus on a tree never mind being able to put anything under their tree for their children. The families chosen are ones who are working towards independence and are focused on surviving, one day at a time. They can no longer think of Christmas as anything but another day, except for the knowledge that their children will suffer by learning that the world can be an ugly place. They will learn it when Christmas comes and goes and they have had no magic or joy, as they had once experienced and had been dreaming they would again this Christmas. With your help we can save these children from learning this lesson, and from thinking that somehow they were not good enough for Santa to come. How do we do this….simply by providing by easing the burden for these parents by giving them the magical experience of a True Christmas. With your generosity we will be not only be providing the gifts but we will be giving them the memory of this Christmas, that all children deserve, and these deserving children will never forget. It is our hope to provide them, everything from the decorations to the stocking stuffers and gifts all the way through to the meal they will share …together…without worries…without sadness…as a family, with joy and happiness on this magical day. If you can't find the time or the right gift for one of our recipient’s, let our Board of Directors help you by doing the shopping with your gift of a monetary donation. Please donate anything you can spare, perhaps some decorations, which are gently used, that you no longer need. Maybe can goods or gift certificate to a grocery store that we can use to provide a Christmas meal. You could change a child's heart this year and therefore change the course of their future forever. Please help us….help them.
