Today we are celebrating our May Birthdays! Please join us in wishing our very own Maria Hortência Silveira birthday wishes! As one of the founders of our organization Maria Hortência’s part in furthering our mission and community outreach has been instrumental. Her years of dedication have been joined by kindness and an outward joy for the Portuguese Language and Culture. We hope you had a wonderful birthday!!! 🎂 🎉

On Tuesday, May 26th, PEFCC was invited to Hilmar High School to present at their Senior Award Night. PEFCC was represented by Dr. Rosa Bettencourt and the students awarded were Jack Johnson, Darin Maciel, Karley Segura, Emma Gomes, and Luana Gomes.

Thank you to Hilmar High School for extending the invite for us to recognize these students! We look forward to continuing to highlight all of our accomplished 2026 Scholarship Recipients throughout the month of June on our social media platforms!
