It's time to welcome Cohort 4 🥳

Stan State's College Corps will be hosting Orientation for new and returning Fellows on August 13th from 8:30AM to 1:00PM, August 14th from 7:30AM to 2:00PM, and August 15th from 8:30AM to 4:00PM. Please view Canvas announcements to RSVP and more information! The deadline to register is on July 31st, Thursday. Attending all Orientation dates are required for ALL returning and new Fellows to be officially accepted into Cohort 4. Contact us for any questions or concerns! We can't wait to meet all of you~

End of Year Celebration Recap 🥳

Congratulations to Cohort 3 for completing an amazing year of community service! We were joined by community leaders like Josh Fryday, Stanislaus State President Britt Rios-Ellis, and a representative from Assemblymember Adam Gray. Many Fellows were recognized for their dedication to service and commitment to going above and beyond to improve our community. FELLOW SPOTLIGHT: Check out our Fellows’ amazing impact 🌟

Recently, our Fellows had the opportunity to showcase their facilitating skills and put their work under the spotlight through their sites. Celeste presented on the impacts of to***co use and helped make a pledge against smoking.

August, Jiovani, and Justin presented their Land Classification Project to provide updates on their impact and how is getting greener! Justin also created a map on some of our beautiful plants around the Trans-California Pathway.

Jeremiah has started his Jiu-Jitsu classes with Stan State's Campus Recreation to provide an opportunity to get stronger and build community! These courses are open to any skill level- check out the last image for dates and times.

We are incredibly proud of our Fellows for these milestones at their sites! Great job Fellows 🫶

Reflection of Service
Monday, March 10th | 10AM to 12PM (Zoom)
Share your experience at your site with other Fellows and reflect on your time at College Corps! Fellows can submit photos of them at their site NOW- check Canvas for submission. We will also host a Kahoot where Fellows will text their AmeriCorps/College Corps knowledge and have a chance to win a PRIZE!!

Partner Appreciation Day
Tuesday, March 11th | Join anytime from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at MSR240
Fellows will share the love with our partner sites and partake in various activities to show appreciation! You can join in anytime from 10AM to 12PM at MSR240 to claim hours.

Plant Workshop
Wednesday, March 12th | 1:00PM to 3:00PM at the Sustainable Agriculture Garden
Join us at the on-campus garden anytime from 1:00PM to 3:00PM for our Fellow hosted workshop! No equipment is necessary to participate in planting at the garden! You can also meet us at 1PM at MSR240 to join us in walking to the garden.

Eco-Friendly Workshop
Thursday, March 13th | 2:00PM to 4:00PM (Zoom)
Learn some tips about how to be eco-friendly and share your experience! We will also be playing Gartic Phone to visualize eco-friendly tactics.

Sharing the Love for Cooking
Friday, March 14th | 9:00AM to 11:00AM
Earn training hours by learning healthy eating habits! We will also be sharing family recipes for Fellows to enjoy. Be prepared to share your recipes and experiences from family plates.
