Massawepie Scout Camps Located in the heart of the Adirondacks near Tupper Lake NY, Massawepie has operated as a premier scout camp since, 1952.

Massawepie operates 6 weeks of scout resident camp and Treks, a summer campground, and cabin, lodge, and campsite rentals all year.

Many hands make for less work. Look at the transformation of our beautiful camp from cleaning, lawncare to building projects! These volunteers worked hard this weekend and it shows! Thank you to all who came up and helped do your part to make Massawepie a better place for all to enjoy. We are so incredibly grateful to all of our dedicated volunteers! 🙏

Beaver Weekend, is no longer just the weekend. By last night we had over 80 people in attendance for dinner! The amount of projects completed by that time was unbelievable and still more join us today.

These amazing humans have cleaned, cooked, painted, built, linework, masonry, carpentry just to name a few. We have GENERATIONS of Massawepie alumni here sharing stories about when then first came to camp, worked at camp or fell in love at camp! From OGs who came with the camp to neighbors and locals showing up to help Ranger Ben and everyone in between! This is such a unique weekend full of HARDWORK and lots of laughs. Massawepie Scout Camps is so grateful for the many amazing humans who come support our camp and get it ready for the summer! (Rain, heat, bugs and all, they are here through it all!) 🙌

Massawepie just launched a new online store to make Apparel with the new "Patriot Beaver" logo available to the general public in honor of "America 250". The Store features everything from T-Shirts and hoodies to a fishing shirt, polos, flannels, backpack, hats, and so much more in every color under the sun!

Items will be produced and sent right to you in rolling batches throughout the season. The items sold on this site Will Not be available at the Trading Post during camp, so if you see anything you like, the online store is the ONLY place to get it. If you're looking to order for your troop, you can even get your troop number printed on some of the items!
Please be sure to look at the order dates chart if you want to be to get your orders in time for your camp session. If you want your merch for Session 1, or you're looking to rep the Patriotic Beaver at your 4th of July Celebrations this year, be sure to order by the first deadline, June 17th. The Store is open now and will close for good on July 29, 2026!

Beaver Weekend from years past! Do you recognize anyone!? All ages and skills levels are welcome. We provide 3 square meals a day, thanks to amazing volunteer chefs! This year's meals will be served out of Gannett Lodge as the dining hall renovation and cleaning will be completed during Beaver Weekend!
