Please remember to keep an eye out for school buses and kiddos during the mornings and afternoon bus runs and always stop for a school bus with its lights flashing and stop sign out.

🚑 Tupper Lake EMS – Volunteers Welcome! 🚁

Tupper Lake EMS proudly serves the Village and Town of Tupper Lake, Santa Clara, Harrietstown, and Piercefield—responding to over 1,000 calls a year, from MVAs and water rescues to structure fires and medical emergencies.

We’re a dedicated team of paid and volunteer EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics, and we’re looking for drivers and support volunteers to join us.

✅ Minimum requirement:
• One 12-hour shift per month
• Valid NYS Driver’s License

🎓 We provide:
• CPR & First Aid
• Monthly trainings
• Driver training
• Ride-along opportunities to learn patient care and EMS operations

Please head on over September 4th @ 1230 to the TL fire hall to help send off our Honor Flight honorees; John Girouard, Raymond Bigrow and Donald Auclair 🇺🇸🇺🇸 These Tupper Lake Veterans will fly off to Washington DC where they will tour the Vietnam, Korean war, and Lincoln memorials plus Arlington National cemetery. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Come out and support your veterans!

Yesterday, EMS Supervisor Clement and EMS Chief Maroun traveled to the PL Custom factory in New Jersey to see Tupper Lake Rescue’s new ambulance. We got a very detailed tour of the facility and laid eyes on our new ambulance. Now the ambulance makes its way to New York for decals and installation of more equipment before being delivered to us in the next coming weeks. We can not thank the community enough for its support and donations to help us purchase this ambulance.
