Good morning Mount Vernon family. The year has swiftly moved on as we now celebrate Labor Day. Looking forward to the fall season. Labor Day seems to be that last vacation day that we have as we get ready to move into the next season. I hope and pray that you will take advantage to celebrate Labor Day in a way where you give thanks to God for you being able to do the work is called you to do. You’re invited to join us today in Mount Vernon as we celebrate the Lord. Tonight at 6 PM we will have bro. Darrell Cooper sharing with us a mission trip He took to Ecuador. Good morning Mt Vernon family. I hope you had a good week. It’s hard to believe that this is the middle of August. They tell me that once you get over the hill time seems to fly by. I thought about a song entitled, “I’ll Never Get Over the Hill”. We may be going down hill but one hill we should never get over is the hill called Calvary. I hope you are making plans to be in the House of the Lord today. What a wonderful day we have been given to worship our blessed Lord. You are welcome to join us at Mt Vernon. We will see you soon. Good morning, Mt Vernon family. As we conclude another Fourth of July celebration, we reflect on 250 years of freedom, grateful to God for this blessing. With the fireworks now silenced, we return to our daily routines, thankful not only for national freedom but more so for the spiritual freedom given by God, as the Bible states, “whom the Son sets free is free indeed”.
