Good morning friends. I hope you had a good week. As we begin a new week we know how our weather changes. Cool today hot tomorrow. This ought to make us more grateful for unchanging presence of our God. He’s the same yesterday, today and forever. Let’s join together in worship today and praise Him for all that He is but especially His unchanging character. You are welcome at Mt Vernon. May God bless you and your family. See you at church soon.

Good morning friends. I hope you made it through the storm and everything is well. I know some were not that fortunate. Let’s pray for all those affected by the hurricane. Sometimes we go through spiritual battles that others may not know about. Just remember that God is with us and He is in control of all our storms and battles. I read what someone said, “has it ever occurred to you that nothing has ever occurred to God”. He knows everything. Today as we worship give thanks for His love, grace and blessings. We invite you to worship with us at Mt Vernon today. May God bless you and your family. See you soon.

Good morning everyone. I hope you all have had a great week. We have seen the Fall season begin and harvest time is here. As I think about the harvest I remember Jesus told us that the fields were white and ready for harvest. All you have to do is look around and you will see that it is true today for sure. As we worship today let God prepare us to be in the field working. You’re invited to join us at Mt Vernon. May God bless you and your family. See you soon.

Morning Mt Vernon family. As we near Fall and refreshing cooler weather I’m reminded of how revival brings a freshness to the soul. I pray you are getting ready for church. As you do ask God if you are in need of the freshness of revival. If so it starts as God is given the opportunity to revive your soul. We don’t need to have a series of services to bring revival. Just surrender your life to God and allow Him to send a fresh awakening in your soul. May God bless you and your family. See you soon.

Good morning Mount Vernon family. The year has swiftly moved on as we now celebrate Labor Day. Looking forward to the fall season. Labor Day seems to be that last vacation day that we have as we get ready to move into the next season. I hope and pray that you will take advantage to celebrate Labor Day in a way where you give thanks to God for you being able to do the work is called you to do. You’re invited to join us today in Mount Vernon as we celebrate the Lord. Tonight at 6 PM we will have bro. Darrell Cooper sharing with us a mission trip He took to Ecuador. Don’t miss this opportunity. May God bless until we meet again and hope to see you soon.

“What a beautiful day for the Lord to come again. “
Those are lyrics to a song I heard many years ago. As I get ready for church I can’t help but think about those words. Even if He doesn’t come back today I still will worship Him. I would love to invite you to come and worship with us at Mt Vernon. Until that wonderful day may God Bless you and your family. See ya at church.
