TUPELO, Miss. — Bethany Christian Services, one of the largest Christian foster care and adoption agencies in the nation, has ended permission for LGBTQ couples to adopt or foster children through its program. The organization, serving over 25 U.S. states, is providing clarification on a longstanding policy and reaffirming its commitment to its faith-based values, stating that future foster families must align with its religious beliefs. Beginning June 2027, “Bethany will only license and re-license foster families whose Christian faith and beliefs align with our Statement of Faith and Belief.”

“Every child deserves a loving home, and Christian ministries should be free to pursue that mission according to their faith convictions,” said Walker Wildmon, CEO of AFA Action, the governmental affairs affiliate of the American Family Association.

“Bethany’s policy reflects a belief held by millions of Americans: that a child is best served, whenever possible, by a mother and a father. That’s not hate, discrimination or extremism — it’s a recognition of the unique and complementary roles that mothers and fathers play in a child’s life. Faith-based organizations should not be forced to abandon that belief in order to participate in foster care and adoption. Protecting children and protecting religious liberty can — and should — go hand in hand.”

In Florida, “Pride Month” is out and “Faith and Family Month” is in. 👏

The proclamation calls on churches, faith-based organizations, businesses and community partners to launch initiatives in June to “educate, inform, and strengthen relationships among husbands and wives, parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren.”

The SPLC’s Interim CEO Bryan Fair testified before Congress yesterday.

During the hearing, Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) highlighted a key point: the SPLC has claimed pro-lifers are white supremacists — even though more than 40% of aborted babies are black.

Religious freedom isn't just a political concept—it's a fundamental right that allows us to live out our faith authentically. Today, we're witnessing unprecedented restrictions on Christian counselors, pregnancy centers, and other faith-based organizations. These limitations don't just affect professionals; they impact families seeking biblical guidance and young people struggling with identity questions. When the government restricts faith-based counseling, it creates a dangerous precedent that could extend to pastors, Christian teachers, and even parents. Imagine being told you can guide someone toward one path but are forbidden from offering biblical alternatives. This isn't just about counseling—it's about whether our society will allow Christian voices to participate in public discourse. The restrictions we see today reveal a deeper spiritual battle. Forces opposed to biblical truth are working systematically to silence Christian perspectives, especially on issues related to God's design for humanity. But here's what we must remember: human laws cannot override God's truth. While we work within legal systems to protect our freedoms, our ultimate confidence rests in God's sovereignty. He can work through any circumstance to accomplish His purposes. As believers, we're called to fight for our freedoms while trusting in God's ultimate plan. This means supporting organizations that defend religious liberty, staying informed about legislation that affects our faith, and praying for those in authority.

TUPELO, Miss. — According to a new Gallup poll, Americans’ acceptance of LGBTQ+ issues has fallen and is in a downward trend, with fewer supporting same-sex marriage or gay relationships as morally permissible. While 51 percent of Americans are in favor of same-sex marriage, that number has decreased by six percentage points from its 2022 and 2023 peak. In addition, moral acceptance of LGBTQ+ relationships has dropped to its lowest level since 2016, and public acceptance of gender transition has also fallen sharply within the last five years.

Walker Wildmon, CEO of AFA Action, the governmental affairs affiliate of the American Family Association, suggests that the recognition of gender ideology harms has led Americans to abandon once-accepted beliefs.

TUPELO, Miss. — Rep. Yassamin Ansari, radical Democrat congresswoman, recently filed new legislation that would mandate employers to fund up to 12 days of paid leave annually for workers to have abortions. Ansari’s proposed Reproductive Healthcare Leave Act, H.R. 8158, is the centerpiece of her three-bill “H.E.R. Agenda” (Healthy, Equity, Rights) package. According to LifeNews.com, “It explicitly covers ‘pregnancy terminations,’ which is a whitewashing of the term abortion, along with menstrual pain, miscarriages, menopause symptoms, endometriosis, IUD insertions, vasectomies, fertility treatments and biopsies.”

Walker Wildmon, CEO of AFA Action, the governmental affairs affiliate of the American Family Association, is urging Americans to rebuke Ansari’s radical bill and support legislation that protects the sanctity of life.

“Paid leave exists to help workers recover from illness, care for family members or navigate major life events — not to subsidize the ending of innocent human life,” said Wildmon. “This proposal exposes just how extreme the abortion movement has become. Instead of supporting women through pregnancy, childbirth and parenting, lawmakers are now proposing that employers provide paid time off specifically for abortion. Americans should reject the idea that abortion is just another workplace benefit and call it out for what it actually is — the killing of unborn children. If we want policies that support women, families and children, we should be investing in life, not making it easier to end it.”
