Attention: Equipment Operators Needed!

As Eight Days of Hope continues to grow, we’re looking for more people willing to learn and serve as Equipment Operators.

Already know how to operate a skid steer, excavator, lift, or other heavy equipment? If you’ve never served with us as an Equipment Operator before, we’d love for you to join us!

No prior experience? We’ll train you! Every Equipment Operator goes through our training to learn how to confidently and safely use the equipment they’ll work with while serving with us.

Equipment Operators play an important role in helping us serve communities after disaster. Please note that experience does not guarantee an equipment assignment. All assignments are based on qualifications, safety, and the needs of each deployment.

Learn, serve, and bring Hope through your hands and feet!

Hurricane Isaias may have brought the damage, but it doesn’t get the final word.

The hands and feet are still showing up. Prayers are being answered. Hope is alive!

Because even in the middle of the hardest circumstances, God is still present and still at work. As Psalm 46:1 reminds us, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

Our team is grateful to be a small part of bringing that hope to families in Pensacola!

Tonight, would you join us in praying for Pensacola? 💙

Pray for the families who are still putting their homes and lives back together after Hurricane Isaias.

Pray for strength and encouragement for those who are weary, and for our volunteers as they continue serving throughout the community.

Pray for the conversations our team has, the homes they visit, and every opportunity to come alongside someone who needs help.

Most of all, pray that the love of Jesus would be evident in every place our team goes and in every person they meet.

A new week of serving begins in Pensacola!

Our Rapid Response team is continuing to come alongside families impacted by Hurricane Isaias, serving and bringing encouragement through our hands and feet.

We’re thankful God has given us the opportunity to be here and serve our Northwest Florida family!

Day 3 in Pensacola. 💙

It’s an honor to serve our Northwest Florida family and come alongside this community in Jesus’ name!

One family shared, “Much thanks to Eight Days of Hope for cleaning and cutting at my son’s house in Pensacola after the hurricane. He and his neighbors are very grateful.”

Moments like this are a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.

What a privilege to serve!

Happy Sunday! ☀️

There is always a reason to hope because our hope is in a God who never changes.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
Hebrews 13:8

He is still faithful, still present, and still at work. 💙

It’s been one week since our teams arrived in Florida, and we’re still serving!

Our Mass Feeding team spent the first part of the week in Navarre, serving 5,140 meals alongside our partners at Destiny Worship Center. With that work complete, our Rapid Response team is serving in Pensacola, coming alongside families in need.

We’re removing debris, cutting dangerous limbs, and helping protect homes with roof tarping. There’s still work to be done, and you can be part of it!

We’d love to have you join our team and serve families affected by Hurricane Isaias. It’s free to volunteer with us – food and lodging are provided, and any skill set is welcome! Sign up today through October 31!

Love looks like getting your hands dirty.

A chainsaw, a tarp, a pair of gloves, and a willing heart can make a tremendous difference when a family is facing the aftermath of a powerful storm.

Would you help us continue serving? Your generosity helps make responses like this possible! Text GIVE to 86373 or send a gift at eightdaysofhope.com.

The hands and feet are here, and they’re serving families in Pensacola right now. 💙

You’ll find them in yards clearing fallen trees, cutting dangerous limbs, tarping roofs, and helping families begin to pick up the pieces after Hurricane Isaias.

As this community continues forward, there’s nowhere we’d rather be than alongside them, bringing hope in the days ahead!
