About The Foundation

This Foundation was founded by a group of dynamic alumni and business owners from the local community. We partner with Summerville High School, students, parents, other non-profits and business leaders to provide an enhanced educational experience for students at Summerville in the areas of Arts, Academics, and Athletics. We provide grants for new construction as well as remodels of existing facilities. We also provide Bear Grants for staff, teachers, and much, much more. The Foundation Board of Directors has 15 board positions; including officers. The officer positions are: Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. In addition to the board, the Foundation employs a part-time Executive Director. Our Foundation Board meets on the fourth Monday approximately 8 months out of the year. We meet at 6:00 pm in the Summerville High School Library.
