Hi, I’m Kelley Kern! I will be serving as the Booster Club Vice President this year! This is my fourth year with the Boosters and am excited to take on a new role and responsibilities after serving as the Volunteer Coordinator for the past two years.

One of my favorite parts of being a Booster is being so closely connected with Summerville’s players, coaches, administrators, and parents. It is a privilege to fundraiser for all the sports, and to interact with the students at their games and on campus. Our athletes work so hard to make their school community proud of them, and I love supporting them in return.

My daughter, Katie Kern, is a Junior at Summerville. She plays volleyball, basketball, and runs track. I am also mom to a Class of 2024 alumni, Brooke Kern, who also played volleyball. Having been a Summerville sports parent for the past several years has been a blast! In the bleachers, cheering on our students is my favorite place to be, and I’m looking forward to another great year!

Hi, I'm Kendel Smith, proud mom to a Summerville Sr. Mylee Ruhl.
This is my fourth year with the Summerville High Boosters Club and my third year serving as President. I originally joined the Booster Club to meet other parents and become involved in something that positively impacts our student-athletes. What started as a way to volunteer has grown into so much more.
Over the years, I've built lasting friendships with incredible people who all share the same passion and purpose—to support every athlete and create opportunities for them to succeed and better our Summerville High School sports programs. I truly believe that athletics teach valuable life lessons, and I'm honored to be part of an organization that helps provide the resources, encouragement, and experiences that allow our students to grow both on and off the courts, mats, and fields.
Serving alongside such dedicated volunteers has been one of the most rewarding experiences, and I'm excited to continue working together to make a positive impact for all Summerville High athletes this year.
