This goes right along with our Sunday school class discussion!!

Melissa Joan Hart said she and her husband, Mark Wilkerson, were overwhelmed with “happy tears” as their 16-year-old son, Brady, was baptized and publicly dedicated his life to Jesus Christ. The actress shared that they sat near the front of the church crying so much that people began handing them tissues.

Hart explained that her family had endured a difficult year involving the loss of loved ones and a friend battling cancer. During that season, they leaned deeply into prayer, while Brady’s youth pastor, teachers, and Christian friends helped him develop a personal faith that began to mean more to him.

Although Brady had been baptized as a baby, Hart said that ceremony represented his parents’ promise to raise him knowing Christ. This time, the decision belonged to him. She celebrated her son for choosing to follow Jesus and become “a shining light for the Glory of God.”
