Women's health!

The Center's Board of Directors is holding a public hearing on women’s health in rural Pennsylvania.

On Tuesday, October 20th, the Board will convene to hear testimony from researchers, health care providers, and health system leaders from across the Commonwealth, as well as written testimony from the Pennsylvania Section of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Testimony will focus on:
- Women’s health outcomes and research
- Maternal health in rural Pennsylvania
- Regional and innovative approaches to women’s health care

Rates of alcohol and substance use are increasing among older adults. This webinar will focus on the prevalence of alcohol, cannabis, and opioid use among older adults, as well as best practices for assessment and intervention.

The guest speaker will be Dr. Erin Woodhead, Professor of Psychology at San José State University.
