When the Call Comes, We Answer 💙🐾
Recently, the Humane Society of Tulsa received a call from the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture asking us to step in and help a rescue in the Oklahoma Panhandle where the animal population had grown far beyond what the rescue could safely support.
Our team responded, and 36 dogs were brought into the care of the Humane Society of Tulsa. Each one now has the opportunity to receive the medical care, safety, compassion, and second chance they deserve.
Situations like this are a reminder of why collaboration in animal welfare matters. When a community is overwhelmed, it takes organizations willing to step up, resources, and people who care enough to help.
We’re grateful to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture for reaching out and to everyone who has been involved in caring for these dogs.
If you’re able, please support the animals currently in our care —whether that means donating, volunteering, adopting, or simply sharing our posts. Every bit of support helps us be there when animals need them most. 🐾
