German-American Society of Tulsa They set about doing so by offering social activities, public cultural events, and educational opportunities to the local community and the Society’s members.

Promote and preserve the German language, culture, and customs through education, social activities, and events for the enrichment of our members and the community. The German-American Society of Tulsa was founded in 1980 by a group of friends who sought to preserve and promote German language, customs, and culture in Tulsa, OK. Over the years many have joined the society to participate and share

in that mission, adding their ideas, passions, and mark upon the long history. The society is grateful to its members and the Tulsa community for their continued contribution and patronage. Christkindlmarkt is one of the two large events the Society brings to the city of Tulsa each year. Our Mission: Promote and preserve the German language, culture, traditions, and customs through educational, social activities, and events for the enrichment of our members and the community.

Germanfest 2026 is in the books. It was a fantastic event! Thank you to everyone who came out and had a blast with us! Your patronage and kindness keeps our doors open and our activities going! We will be back for Germanfest 2027!
