CGM Outreach was established several years ago in the heart and mind of Founder & CEO Toni F. Since 1999 it has worked within the Oklahoma correctional system to address the challenges in the lives of inmates, parolees and ex-inmates that cause the high rate of recidivism in Oklahoma. Having had a career in law enforcement it was easy for Toni Washington to identify the cross-section of transient
individuals and families population with a myriad of challenges that cripple areas of Tulsa. In 2007 Pastor Toni, a Tulsa City Councilor, a Pastor of a prominent Tulsa Church and several leaders from around the United States were invited to Atlanta, Georgia to the East Lake Foundation. The Village of East Lake Community is a highly successful prototype for the revitalization of an urban development initiative in the USA. Washington returned to Tulsa determined to establish a community to service and provide people transitioning from prisons, shelters, displaced veterans, young adults exiting foster care and other areas of abuse and addiction with a safe environment self-sufficiency and independence. This brought about the birth of Trinity Transitional Training and Development Center aka TTT& D. TTT& D will be a multipurpose facility and campus able to respond to the increasing needs of Tulsa’s transient population. Two sites have been identified for construction of the facilities. CGM Outreach has recently initiated fundraising goals both short term and long term operating goals to purchase one of these sites.
