✨🐾 LET’S CELEBRATE SOME GOOD NEWS! 🐾✨

Before we share more dogs who are still waiting, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the ones who got their second chance today. ❤️

Today, 12 dogs and cats walked out of Tulsa Animal Services with new families. 🥹

But the reality is… for every dog and cat who leaves, more are still coming in. The need is ongoing, and Tulsa Animal Services still has so many amazing animals waiting for their chance.

So today, we celebrate these 12. ❤️

Tomorrow, we keep fighting for the ones still waiting.

Pesmo is a 41-lb sweetheart who found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own. 💔 He’s an owner surrender, and now he’s hoping someone will see the good boy underneath those nervous eyes. 🥺

Here’s what we love about Pesmo:
🐶 Loves being around other dogs
🌿 LOVES being outside and exploring
🦮 Walks nicely on a leash
💩 Went potty outside
🥰 Enjoys head rubs
🦴 Takes treats super gently — even if he doesn’t always eat them! 😂

Pesmo is still a little scared and needs a minute to warm up. He may not run up to you and instantly act like your best friend, but give him a little patience and kindness, and you can see him starting to relax. ❤️

He didn’t ask for his world to change, but he deserves a second chance at a forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and wanted.

💔 TULSA, WE NEED YOU! CLEAR THE SHELTERS WAS LAST MONTH…BUT THE NEED DIDN’T END 💔

Last month, our community showed up in a BIG way. Together, we celebrated 500+ adoptions at Tulsa Animal Services! 🥹❤️

And we are so incredibly grateful.

But today, the kennels are full again.

There are literally hundreds of dogs at Tulsa Animal Services right now who are waiting for someone to choose them. 🐾

And honestly? This has been a really, really slow adoption week. And we’re feeling it. 💔

Every face in this collage is a life.
A dog who wants a family.
A senior who still has so much love to give.
A young dog who just needs someone to give them a chance. This is just a FRACTION of those waiting for their forever home 💔

They don’t know that Clear the Shelters ended.
They don’t know that the crowds have gone home.
They just know they’re still waiting. 🥺

We celebrated 500+ adoptions. Now let’s keep going. 🙏

The shelter world feels like a lot for this petite girl. She was hesitant heading outside and a little unsure of her surroundings, but once she got out, we saw those adorable little pieces of her personality start to shine. ✨

Sasha is curious and independent, and she absolutely LOVES treats and gentle pets. 🥰 She’s friendly, just a little scared, and we have a feeling that with a little patience and a quiet place to decompress, this girl is going to blossom.

At just 20 pounds, Sasha is the perfect size to be your little sidekick. 🐾 She’s spayed and ready to go home—she just needs someone willing to give her the time and kindness she deserves.

Meet DON, a little guy with a BIG opinion! 😂

Don may only be 22 pounds, but he definitely thinks he’s much bigger. He showed off a little “little man syndrome” when he spotted the big dogs in the next yard and had plenty to say! 📢🐕‍🦺

Once outside, Don pottied and took some time to check everything out. He’s a little aloof at first, but he has an adorable independent streak and plenty of personality waiting to shine.

He’s young, neutered, and ready for someone who will appreciate all the sass, charm, and chihuahua mix attitude packed into one little body. ❤️

Toasted Bagel is terrified in her kennel. She’s so scared that it’s easy to wonder what’s happening behind those frightened eyes. 😭💔

But then she gets OUT…

✨ She just wanted to feel safe with someone.

She’s only 31 pounds — a little girl carrying a whole lot of fear right now. She doesn’t need to be overlooked because she’s scared in a kennel. She needs someone willing to see the dog underneath that fear.

Once Dixie is out, she is an absolute GEM! ✨ She walks great on a leash, goes potty outside, and LOVES being outdoors. Give this girl some treats, head rubs, and a good butt scratch and you’ll have one very happy pup! 🥰🍪

Dixie even knows SIT and UP! 👏🐾 She enjoys attention and is more than happy to soak up all the love you’re willing to give.

She came in as a stray, and so far, no one has come looking for her. 💔 We can’t imagine why this sweet girl hasn’t been claimed, but maybe that means she’s waiting for YOU. ❤️
