Please help us welcome Miranda and Olive Doorn to NCL Bixby’s Class of 2032! 🤍

Miranda enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, attending concerts, and getting lost in a good book. She is passionate about raising kind children and helping them build meaningful connections beyond a screen.

Olive enjoys swimming, basketball, shopping, and spending time with friends. She loves math, hopes to become a math teacher one day, and is looking forward to serving her community through NCL. One of her goals this year is to grow closer to God and continue helping others in need.

We are excited to have Miranda and Olive as part of the NCL Bixby family and look forward to serving alongside them this year!

Please help us welcome Michelle and Brelyn Bewley to NCL Bixby’s Class of 2032!

Michelle is a Registered Nurse who loves tennis, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. She is passionate about caring for the people she loves and considers being a mom to Bre and Brody among her greatest accomplishments.

Brelyn enjoys dance, pom, and spending time with friends. She loves Language Arts, dreams of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, and says she couldn’t live without her mom.

We are so excited to have Michelle and Brelyn as part of the NCL Bixby family and look forward to serving alongside them this year! 🤍

While we have been excitedly welcoming our new leadership team, we would be remiss not to pause and thank the women who helped lead our chapter throughout the 2025–2026 year.

This year, our theme was Legacy in Bloom—a reminder that the seeds we plant through service, leadership, and connection continue to grow long after our work is done. Through countless volunteer hours, thoughtful leadership, and a shared commitment to our mission, these women helped our chapter flourish and created a lasting impact on our members, philanthropies, and community.

Their dedication, generosity, and unwavering support have strengthened NCL Bixby in ways that will continue to be felt for years to come. We are deeply grateful for the time, talent, and care they poured into our chapter and for the legacy they leave behind.

Meet Ashley Toma, our 2026–2027 Board Advisor 🤍

After serving our chapter as President this past year, we are so grateful that Ashley will continue supporting NCL Bixby in our newly established Board Advisor role. Her dedication to our mission, servant heart, and commitment to excellence have helped shape our chapter, and we are excited for her to continue sharing her experience and guidance with our leadership team.

Then she was: Playing dolls, chatting with everyone she met, building with Legos, and celebrating every occasion!

Now she is: Leading with purpose, cheering on her children through every stage of life, serving her community, mentoring others, and finding joy in creating meaningful experiences for the people around her.

As Board Advisor, Ashley will help provide continuity, support leadership transitions, and serve as a trusted resource for our Board. Her experience, institutional knowledge, and love for NCL will be invaluable as our chapter continues to grow and thrive.

Welcome our 2026–2027 Chapter President, Mindee Ferland 🤍

We could not be more excited for Mindee to lead NCL Bixby this year. Her warmth, joyful spirit, servant heart, and love for this organization shine through in everything she does, and we are so grateful for the leadership she will bring to this new season ✨

Then she was: Playing with baby dolls, singing and dancing for anyone who would watch, swinging in the backyard, listening for the ice cream truck, and dressing up with her sisters.

Now she is: The mom of a middle school daughter and two college girls, supporting them in every season of life while helping plan a wedding as mother of the bride. You’ll find her living in her car driving her 8th grader to all the things, making trips back and forth to Norman, serving her community, loving her family well, working in her flower beds, and enjoying decorating and party-planning projects with her girls whenever the opportunity pops up.

Fun fact: Mindee is a proud NCL mom through and through — with two daughters who are alumni of NCL Bixby and now beginning her third NCL journey alongside her youngest daughter, Ivy 🤍

Mindee leads with gratitude and joy, even in the busiest seasons of life, and we cannot wait to see the beautiful impact she will make on our chapter this year!

Meet Abbey Engles, our 2026–2027 President-Elect 🤍

After serving so thoughtfully as Parliamentarian this past year, we are so excited to have Abbey stepping into the President-Elect role and continuing her leadership journey with NCL Bixby Chapter. ✨

Then she was: Roller skating in dresses and pretending to run meetings in her bedroom.

Now she is: Running a classroom, participating in meaningful events, and giving back through causes that truly matter to her.

Abbey brings such a thoughtful, steady, and servant-hearted presence to our chapter. Her leadership, organization, and passion for community make her such a wonderful fit for this role, and we cannot wait to see the impact she will continue to make this year.

We are so thankful to have Tanya returning to this role again this year, continuing to lead and support our Ticktockers with such genuine care and dedication ✨

Then she was: A redheaded little girl in a sparkly dance costume with big dreams.

Now she is: A mom, professional, and community volunteer who still believes in showing up with heart, confidence, and a little sparkle.

Tanya brings such warmth, encouragement, and enthusiasm to NCL Bixby. Through her leadership with our Ticktockers, she helps create meaningful experiences, encourages servant leadership, and reminds our girls that kindness and confidence can truly shine together.

Meet Jennifer Schafer, our 2026–2027 Co-VP of Philanthropy 🤍

From dance recitals, drill team leadership, and serving as Beta Club president… to serving meals, raising a family, and giving back to the community with heart and purpose ✨

Then she was: Performing at dance recitals, playing with her dolls, and fulfilling her role as line lieutenant of her drill team and president of Beta Club.

Now she is: Preparing meals at Ronald McDonald House, parenting her three children, and serving her community.

Fun fact: Jennifer is a lover of sweet tea, Dr Pepper, cruises, and Tex-Mex 🌮🥤☀️

We are so excited for the compassion, leadership, and servant heart Jennifer brings to National Charity League, Inc., Bixby Chapter this year as she helps support our philanthropic partners, coordinate volunteer opportunities, and strengthen our chapter’s impact throughout the community.

We are so excited for the heart, organization, and servant leadership Christine brings to National Charity League, Inc., Bixby Chapter this year as she helps coordinate our philanthropic partnerships, support our liaisons, and create impactful volunteer opportunities for our members and families.
