What can 1000 year flood do to an empty lake? We are about to find out. Optima Lake, up in the Oklahoma panhandle, has basically been dry since it was constructed in the late 70s. But with the flooding in the panhandle this last week, the floodwaters are headed to Optima Lake. Hold on. It should be an interesting ride. This video was taken yesterday by the TX County sheriffs office. Normally this lake is just a small shallow mudhole.... not now.

Please join us tomorrow to hear Alex Vaisvil about his striper study on the Lower Illinois and Kerr Lake. We will meet at 7pm at the Owasso Community Center. Please remember our yearly dues are $20 for single and $25/family. (Cash or check) The dues are donated back to the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife to support striped bass/hybrid fishing.

Hello anglers! Tomorrow is our final meeting of the year at the Owasso Community Center at 7 pm. We will be providing pizza and drinks. Please join us for an awesome time of food, fellowship and fun. We will have our end of the year drawing and you do not have to be present to win. We will have 4 gifts. If we have inclement weather, please check here on Facebook for an update and use your best judgment on attending. Also, feel free to call or text any of the officers. We look forward to seeing you Tues/tomorrow, Nov 15th at 7pm at the Owasso Community Center.

Our club proudly donates almost all our dues and other money we raise back to the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife.

Update: due to unforeseen circumstances....our speaker had to cancel. We are still meeting but it will be club participation.

Please join the Oklahoma Striped Bass Club tomorrow night at 7pm at the Owasso Community Center to hear Alex speak on his Striped bass study on the Lower Illinois and Kerr lake. It's free to attend.
The Owasso Community Center is located at 301 S Cedar Street, Owasso. It's just slightly west and south of the McDonald's off 76th St N. Please invite your friends.
