Urban Eden Community

09/22/2026

This Friday, we’re gathering to FLOW.

We’re doing something a little different at our Urban Eden Community Gathering this week. We’re calling it FLOW FRIDAY.

Bring your instrument. Bring a notebook. Bring a sketchpad. Bring a poem that hasn’t been written yet. Or just bring yourself.

Someone may begin playing something and another person joins in. A rhythm may become a song. A thought may become a poem. Something someone says may become a drawing. A conversation may open something none of us expected.

The idea is to purposely engage in Spirit, listen, and give expression to what we hear and see.

We’re simply creating space to explore what happens when a community becomes present together and allows creativity to emerge.

And you absolutely do not have to consider yourself creative to come. Maybe you just want to sit in the room, listen, experience it, and see what gets stirred within you.

Something has been happening at Urban Eden Gatherings lately…

We’ve hit a sweet spot as a community.

The conversations have been rich. People are opening up. Gifts are coming alive. There’s laughter, honesty, encouragement, different perspectives, and a genuine sense that we are connecting as family.

Our community is thriving, and we want to invite you into it.

This Friday at 6PM, we’re gathering again for our weekly Urban Eden Community Home Gathering.

We are preparing an Italian food spread. So come hungry, bring a friend, pull up a chair, and experience what’s been happening for yourself.

You don’t need to know anybody... You don’t need to believe everything we believe... You don’t need to have life figured out.

Just come as you are.

Looking for a place where you can share a meal, meet real people, and have honest conversations about life, identity, and Jesus without the pressure of a typical church setting?

We’re gathering this Friday at 6:00 PM in Tulsa.

The evening is really about making room for connection, laughter, questions, and community. You do not need to have everything figured out, know the right language, or fit into a religious box. Just come as you are and join the conversation.

This is a gathering in our home, so send us a message for the address or visit the Urban Eden Community website for the address.. We would love to meet you.

What do you do when your life seems to contradict what you believe?

Have you ever looked at your life and wondered why it doesn't seem to match the promises you believe?

We believe God is with us.... We believe Christ is our peace.

We believe that all things work together for good and that we carry the life of Christ.

And then life happens.... A diagnosis... A struggling marriage... A lost job... A business fails.

Suddenly, our experience seems to be telling a completely different story than what we believe.

So which one do we trust?... Our circumstances or the reality we've come to know?

I've come to realize that one of the greatest challenges isn't simply walking through difficult seasons.

It's learning not to let those seasons redefine what is true.

Over the past several weeks I've been writing an essay about this tension because I think every one of us has wrestled with it at some point.

If you've ever found yourself wondering why your life doesn't seem to line up with what you believe, I think this conversation will resonate with you.

👉 Read the essay here:

There are moments in life that seem to rearrange everything in an instant. A conversation with a doctor changes the direction of an ordinary day. A job disappears without warning. A relationship begins to unravel. A business you've poured years into suddenly starts struggling. Sometimes the changes....

Urban Eden was never built around creating another religious environment.

Our heart has always been simple: create space where people can belong, grow, ask hard questions, build meaningful relationships, and learn how to live from the life already within them.

Community matters because transformation has never been meant to happen in isolation.
