🎃 Run-Away Pumpkin Fun at The Zone! 🎃
Our students had a great time bringing The Roll-Away Pumpkin to life through storytelling, sequencing, movement, and art. They practiced remembering what happened first, next, and last, worked together to put story events in order, and created their own pumpkin-inspired pictures.
Activities like this help build early literacy, listening, memory, creativity, and teamwork—all while making learning active and fun!

🎃 Pumpkin Scientists at Work! 🎃
Our students became hands-on scientists as they explored the anatomy of a pumpkin! They worked together to identify parts like the stem, skin, pulp, and seeds, while practicing observation, vocabulary, teamwork, and problem-solving.
We love creating learning experiences that let children explore, ask questions, and discover how things work—especially when fall makes science this much fun! 🍂🧡

🍎🎃 Fall STEM Week at The Zone! 🎃🍎
This week, our students will be learning through hands-on fall challenges that mix science, engineering, teamwork, and creativity!
We’ll be exploring the anatomy of a pumpkin, acting out and sequencing The Roll-Away Pumpkin, and putting our engineering skills to the test with apple STEM and apple tower challenges. 🔥🧪 Fire Safety + Science at The Zone!
Our 2nd–5th graders explored the science behind fire safety by learning how heat makes air rise and why smoke rises too. Students connected what they learned to the important safety rule: Get Low and Go!
They also created fire-themed artwork to show the movement of flames and smoke—combining creativity, science, and real-life safety skills in one hands-on lesson.

🔥🚒 Fire Safety Week at The Zone! 🚒🔥
Our Kinder–1st grade students had fun learning important fire-safety skills through stories, movement, and hands-on activities. They practiced how firefighters help our community, what to do when they hear a fire alarm, and why it is important to get low and go when there is smoke.
Learning how to stay safe can be fun, active, and memorable! ❤️🔥
