Looking for a fun outdoor activity for the whole family this weekend? Join the Indian Association of Greater Tulsa on April 12th at 4pm at Tulsa University for a Holi celebration. The event will be held on the beautiful huge lawn in front of Chapman Commons. Several vivid colors will be provided. Snacks and drinks are available for a small price. This event will be filled with Holi Color, Music and Colorful activities. It is encouraged for everyone to wear white clothing.

We had a very successful Guatemala Weekend this past weekend with 53 campers! Thank you to all the families, volunteers, and most of all campers who made this year another memorable event. See you all in 2015!

Guatemala Weekend is only 1 month away!! Parents we have an amazing parent workshop lined up for this year.

Do you wonder how to prepare your children for your community and school? How to support them when they face challenges?
What is the best way to tell the adoption story? What about cyberbullying? Do you want the opportunity to ask questions about adoption, ethnicity and race?

Karin Price, social worker and adoptive mom, helps children, teens and young adults cope with society’s perception of adoption, ethnicity, heritage and race. Each year, she works with schools, organizations and places of worship to improve their policies on physical, emotional, social and spiritual safety. Parents who attend her workshops leave with tools, strategies and a new level of understanding their children.

Looking for some cultural fun this weekend? This Saturday, Jan. 25th the Indian Association of Greater Tulsa is having a Republic Day celebration at the Jewish Community Center in Tulsa, OK. Had a blast on Saturday cheering on the Tulsa Revolution!!! Best part of the game was hanging with friends and cheering on Discovery Days counselor Dave Leung. Thanks everyone who came and joined in on the fun.

Reminder to all Teens! Come out and support Tulsa's Indoor Professional Soccer Team, the Revolution. This will be a great time for all the teens in the area to get together and hangout!

Also, if you are on a soccer team don't forget to wear your jersey, as you will get a 50% discount on your admission.
