Kids On The Block presented by The Parent Child Center of Tulsa Kids on the Block is full of trained volunteers who present skits in elemntary schools with child size puppets.

These puppets teach children what to do if they don't feel safe and how to get help. Kids of the Block puppeteer educators teach children how to protect themselves in difficult situations. The team of performers travel to classrooms, club meetings and churches to delivers their special message. There are many puppet kids who provide a friendly environment for the children and allows them to share

their feelings and fears with the puppets. Joanne, Stephen, Brenda, Nam, Melody, Clare and Eddy are the puppet kids who talk with the children in grades Pre-K to 5th grade. Some of the main topics that the puppet kids cover are topics that many children may not know a lot about. Topics such as Bullying, Stranger Danger, Physical Abuse, and Sexual Abuse can be covered by the puppet kids. The puppets talk in a kid friendly language the provides a fun and educational show!
