Someone once told me you have to choose which hill you die on. Get ready to fill out your reports on me, ‘cause I'm going to vent here. Frankly I expect some "unfriending" to happen and that is fine too.

I believe we all have the right to worship as we please, but I also know that our country, the United States of America, was founded on Christian principles. I believe we should be proud of our country. A quote is a quote; It should not be amended or watered down.

The news media should not be afraid to use the "Love of Christ" part. Answering “Why”, they state, “Because, using the words Christ or God might offend someone!” Well, now it's my turn to be offended!

I'm offended that the news media would edit it out. I’m offended that Christians are being asked to tread lightly, so as not to offend someone of another religion. This man, Jesus, loved God, loved his people, loved the world, and gave his life for the sins of ALL people so that those who “believe in Him, and accept Him as their personal Savior, will have everlasting life!!!”

This Founding Principle is actually embedded in our Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.” Why would the left lopsided media continue to edit this truth?!

I hope every Christian or every person that believes in God who is NOT OFFENDED will copy this and paste it to their status...“If we ever forget that we're one nation under GOD, then we will be a nation gone under.” ~Ronald Reagan.

Well, yesterday was not a good day for me. I took a load of compost to Rogersville Missouri yesterday got within 5 miles of my delivery point blowed out a tire change that put the spare on got two more miles and blow that one out. Had to call road service get a new tire got unloaded got back to my, reloaded to go home and somewhere between Miami and Afton the rear axle right side weld broke and I had to call the cavalry to come and load me up and haul at home so it can be repaired. Oh well, I guess that’s just the cost of doing business, but it really sucks.

*STAR DAYS POSTPONED*

NEXT YEARS EVENT DATES
SEPTEMBER 8 - 11, 2021

This has been a very difficult decision to make because so many people from STAR Touring and the Suncoast have put a lot of hard work into planning this year’s event but due to the current Nevada state COVID 19 restrictions and after discussions with the management at the SUNCOAST Hotel Casino, STAR has determined that out of an abundance of caution for the safety and health of our members to postpone STAR DAYS to next year 2021.

STAR DAYS is our Family Reunion Convention where we see old friends and make
new friends, that you want to hug and spend social time getting to know. The below restrictions would really limit our social interaction and compromise our event that is planned for YOU.

COVID 19 restrictions in place:
Masks mandatory at all times inside and outside
No more than 4-6 people can be seated together with social distancing
No more than 50 people in a ballroom included wait staff
No more than 50 people gathered outside in the parking lot
Social distancing must be complied with at all times
No gatherings of more than 10 people in hotel rooms
All entertainment venues are CLOSED “Tournament of Kings”
All bars are closed
All restaurants have limited seating capabilities
All Buffets are close.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL HOTEL REGISTRATION WILL BE REFUNDED 100%
Please contact the Hotel, give them your confirmation # and let them know that you are booked under the STAR DAYS event and they will take care of your refund.

IF YOU CHOOSE YOUR HOTEL REGISTRATION WILL BE APPLIED TO NEXT YEAR
Suncoast has agreed that there will be no increase in pricing for next years event so you may choose to apply your current registration to next year’s event.
Suncoast has also agreed that if you still wish to vacation in Las Vegas this year they will honor our STAR discount rates.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL YOUR STAR PACKET ALL CHARGES WILL BE REFUNDED 100%
If you used PayPal we will refund you through PayPal
If you paid by check we will issue a check back to you.
Please contact the STAR office and we will process the refunds.

We will be riding out to Eischens Bar & Grill in Okarche, OK on Sat. May 19, 2018. Anyone interested in riding along with us to have some great food is more than welcome.
