Our motto, “CONQUERING HUNGER ONE BAG AT A TIME” exemplifies our dedication to the community and our desire to provide emergency assistance to families who normally have no place to turn. Peoples Pantry of Tulsa focuses on the Working Poor and Seniors in Crisis who receive no assistance or limited assistance from governmental agencies. Families coming to the Peoples Pantry for emergency food relief are often persons who find their food budgets impacted by car repairs, high utility bills, medical issues, family emergencies or job loss. Our emergency food organization gives these individuals a place to turn for help. is a nonprofit organization incorporated in the state of Oklahoma and has received its exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations of food, clothing and money are tax deductible. Because of caring individuals, Peoples Pantry of Tulsa, Inc. has been able to provide nonperishable groceries, fresh and frozen vegetables, frozen meats, personal care items, reading glasses and family clothing. Peoples Pantry of Tulsa stands in the gap and provides meaningful services with compassion, humanity and dignity for individuals and families that have emergency food needs. Our goal is to assist people who are hungry, homeless or disadvantaged to improve the quality of their lives. Often, the Peoples Pantry offers a simple light meal and a time to talk with our volunteers to share their issues and concerns.
