On September 3, 2026, our chapter had the opportunity to hold our 2nd Annual Tie the Knot for Generations. This is an event where we collect ties to give to students at Kipp Preparatory Academy Middle School.

Purpose: To make sure that young men in 5th - 8th grade know the following:

•Understand how to tie it
•Understand when to wear the tie
•Understand the importance of owning a tie

Year 1 - We served 60 students
Year 2 - We served 120 students

Phi Beta Sigma men handle business. August is Black Business Month, and we wanted to let you know about a workshop open to the public. You don’t have to be a part of the blue and white family nor do you have to be in a fraternity or sorority. For more information please see the flyer below

The men of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc……Kappa Tau Sigma Alumni Chapter is having our 2nd Annual Tying the Knot Through Generations event. In year one, we had a chance to teach 60 young men how to tie a tie and own one, and this year we want to do more.

Our goal is give away 300 ties to assure that every young man at Kipp Tulsa Middle School. If you would like to donate any ties, you can drop them off at Lacy Park

Kappa Tau Sigma would like to take this time and welcome summer initiates The Σimple Three to the wonderous band of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated

We want to take this time and say thank you to everyone that came out to our 4th Annual Back to School Bash. In just 4 years the results are as follows:

Year 1 - 0 school supplies given out

Year 2 - 30 school supplies given out

Year 3 - 65 school supplies given out

Year 4 - (Goal was 100) (Gave out 252)

This is by far the best year we have had and we want to thank all the sponsors, vendors and brothers he came out to support this great event

Our 4th Annual Back to School Bash will have the following things:

-7 Bikes for the age range 11 to 18 (Raffle Giveaway)
-4 Chromebooks (Raffle Giveaway)
-Free adult assessment
-Free school supplies (Child must be in attendance to receive supplies)
-FREE Barbecue (While it lasts)
-FREE Jupiter jump
-Many other vendors

The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and you will receive a passport with a set number of activities your child must complete. We look forward to having fun and giving out school supplies

We had a blast supporting Tulsa Alumni Chapter Kappa Alpha Psi event this evening. It was a great fundraiser with a bunch of laughs and all around good times with the brothers
