History
Women Empowering and Networking Together (WENeT) was founded June 2006 as a non-profit organization by Sherry Gamble Smith. God inspired a vision through her to collectively bring women together and empowered them to live a life of Freedom and Victory. WENeT operated with only it’s Broad of Directors for the first four years, serving the community, adopting inner city public schools and it

s teachers, starting self- esteem and mentoring programs in public school system, participating in Breast Cancer Awareness and other rewarding endeavors. In January 2011 the organization launched “Let’s Talk Women” Summits a powerful women support system that empowers women of all races, backgrounds, economic and social statuses within our public Libraries. God continues to bless WENeT as we grow and reach out to our families, friends, churches, communities and government agencies, challenging them to make a difference in the city of Tulsa and in the state of Oklahoma.
