Meet Terri Hadley-Alspach, CEO of Eastern Oklahoma Donated Dental Services (EODDS).
Terri began her career in the dental profession in 1990, serving as a dental assistant, insurance coordinator, and office manager. She stepped into clinical education in 1995, creating the Dental Assisting Program at Platt College, where she prepared students to become valuable assets in every aspect of a dental office.
In 2010, Terri joined EODDS as Program Coordinator and later became CEO. She brings decades of experience to this work, along with a huge heart for helping those who might otherwise go without essential dental care.
While working in dental offices, Terri saw firsthand how many people struggled to afford necessary dental treatment, even with insurance, and that continues to drive her work today.
“Seeing people in need of dental care they cannot afford is why I do what I do. I understand the importance of dental healthcare and know what a difference a smile makes in the lives of many.”
Under Terri’s leadership, EODDS continues its mission of connecting eastern Oklahomans with volunteer dentists and life-changing dental services. Since 2003, EODDS has helped nearly 29,000 individuals access needed dental care, with more than 400 volunteer dentists donating approximately $62 million in services and over 46,000 volunteer hours.
Terri remains driven today by the same passion that first brought her to EODDS: helping people receive the dental care they need when they otherwise may have gone without.
As Terri says, “We are called to serve one another humbly in love. We should use whatever gift we have been given to serve others. Having the ability to bless others with a smile continues giving.”
