The OU Club of Tulsa is seeking passionate leaders within our community to help engage OU alumni and friends in the year ahead! We invite you to submit nominations for our 2026 Board of Directors.
Available positions and role descriptions:
Vice President:
Assumes the presidency if the president vacates their position for any reason. Attends leadership meetings, works with other officers and committees to carry out chapter operations, and assists the president in the fulfillment of their duties. Responsible for oversight of assigned committees from the club/society president.
Treasurer:
Maintains the club/society funds, pays obligations, and keeps a record of all financial transactions. Establishes a budget for yearly activities to be approved by club leadership. Provides a full and accurate account of all receipts to OU Alumni for disbursements from the club/society foundation account.
Communications/Social Media Manager:
Maintains a robust social media presence on Facebook and Instagram that is engaging, uplifting, and fun, and provides updates to club members, area alumni and Sooner friends about upcoming events, University of Oklahoma news, and local spotlights. Works with the president and, if necessary, OU Alumni on the creation and ex*****on of all broad communications and social media efforts.
Young Alumni Representative (35 and under):
Helps recruit and connect young alumni with local clubs/societies. Works with the president to create and execute programming that will attract young alumni to be more involved and encourage them to participate in leadership positions.
