🏕️ HUB Summer Camp starts tomorrow, and our team has been hard at work transforming classrooms into National Parks as we celebrate America's 250th birthday all summer long!

From mountain landscapes and campfires to waterfalls and wilderness adventures, each classroom has its own national park-inspired theme designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and exploration. 🌲⛰️🔥

A big thank you to our incredible staff and volunteers who have spent countless hours planning, decorating, and preparing for an unforgettable summer. We can't wait to welcome campers through the doors and kick off a summer full of learning, laughter, and adventure.

You can help! We have our largest camp registration ever with over 125 campers coming to The Common Good every weekday this summer....and we want to keep this program FREE for our Northwest Tulsa community.

A huge THANK YOU to Scheels for their generous donation of individual mini LEGO® sets to The Common Good! 🎉

These awesome sets will be put to great use through our HUB LEGO Club, where 2nd–5th grade students engage in hands-on STEM learning, creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. They will also be shared with children and families at our annual Christmas Joy event this holiday season. 🎄🧱

Partnerships like these are truly the lifeblood of any nonprofit organization. The support of community-minded businesses allows us to expand our impact and create meaningful opportunities for families in Northwest Tulsa.

Way to go, HUB Mid/High Program!

A huge shoutout to our HUB Mid/High students for all of their hard work in the HUB garden! 🌱👏

They rolled up their sleeves and transformed the front planters by clearing out old soil and rocks, mixing in fresh compost and sand, and planting 15 different varieties of sweet potatoes. 🍠

We love seeing our students learn new skills, work together, and take pride in creating something that will continue to grow and serve our community.

Great job, everyone! 💚

Checkmate on another great season of HUB Chess Club!♟️

Our HUB Chess Club brought together a talented and dedicated group of students who spent each week learning strategy, competing over the board, and growing in confidence through the game of chess. Even in a condensed season, it was incredible to watch both new and returning players sharpen their skills, encourage one another, and show great sportsmanship throughout every session.

We’re so proud of the commitment and focus this group showed all season long, and we can’t wait to see HUB Chess Club return this fall with an even longer session for developing competitive players. We’re also excited to continue expanding HUB recreation opportunities with new programs coming soon!

The Common Good is hosting a Senior Prom for our 55+ residents in Northwest Tulsa on Thursday, May 28, at 11am, and you’re invited! 💃🕺

Join us for an evening of music, dancing, small bites, and fun as we celebrate in true Old Hollywood style. We encourage everyone to dress up and enjoy a special moment out with friends and community. 🎬🍾

This event is completely FREE for those in the 74127 zip code and open to ages 55+. We can’t wait to dance the day away with you! ✨

Learning is always more fun when you can create with your hands! ✨

PreK and Kindergarten students in our After School Program recently created their own play-dough mazes as part of a STEM activity. After designing their mazes, they tested their problem-solving skills by trying to guide marbles all the way through!

Hands-on activities like these help students build creativity, patience and critical thinking skills while having fun and learning together.

We love creating opportunities for youth to explore, create and grow each day at The Common Good! ❤️

🇺🇸 On this Memorial Day, let us take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by our brave men and women who have served our great nation. Today, we come together as a community to honor and remember those who gave their lives defending the values we hold dear.

May we never forget the heroes who have fallen. May we honor their memory not only on this day but every day by cherishing the freedoms they fought so valiantly to protect.

In observance of Memorial Day, The Common Good and Northwest Tulsa HUB will be closed. Activities will resume on Tuesday, May 26.
