What does it take to keep The NW Tulsa HUB running? Our youth are getting a firsthand look! 🙌

We’re excited to welcome The SWITCH Program as a new addition to our Mid/High Program at The Common Good, giving young people opportunities to explore real-world roles, discover their interests, and learn through hands-on experience.

During their first experience at The HUB, youth stepped into roles in security, kitchen support, and athletic operations—learning about the teamwork and responsibility that go into serving our community every day.

One student shared that the experience gave them a new appreciation for our team and sparked an interest in working at The Common Good! 💙

That’s why opportunities like this matter. They help young people see their own potential and imagine what their future could hold.

Thank you to the SWITCH team for bringing this vision to life with us. We’re excited to help our Northwest Tulsa youth build skills, confidence, and connections!

Volunteers are the lifeblood of any nonprofit ❤️
And truly—we couldn’t do this work without you.

At The Common Good, every volunteer minute counts. Whether you can serve weekly, once a month, or just once, there are so many ways to jump in and make a real difference in Northwest Tulsa.

✨ A few ways to serve:
🥪 Making lunches for our kids
📚 Reading Buddies – spend just 20 minutes a week reading with a 2nd or 3rd grader and help positively impact our community’s literacy deficit
🎉 Supporting community events like Ladies Break Night
😁 Front desk help for those with a smiling face
…and more opportunities throughout the year!

Your time matters. Your presence matters. And your “yes” helps strengthen an entire community.

💡 Pro tip: volunteering is even better together.
Gather your friend group, church group, family, or corporate serving day team and come be part of the good work happening every day at The Common Good 💙
