Sending our love and prayers to the Heartland Congregation and the Martin family.
We are deeply saddened to share that Ken Martin passed away on Thursday October 8th.
A viewing will be held at John Ireland Funeral Home this Friday October 16th from 3:00-7:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held in our Main Building this Saturday October 17th at 2:00pm. If you cannot attend the service in person, it will be available for you to join on Zoom (details found in the link here: mailchi.mp/51bd267b12c0/km).
Before the service, all are invited to join family, friends, and our congregation for a potluck meal in our Gym beginning at 12:00pm. Although you are not required to bring anything, we are still needing chicken, veggies, desserts, rolls, and anything gluten free if you wish to help. Please let Dottie know (or you can comment below) if you plan on bringing something.
This is a tremendous loss for our congregation and all who were blessed to have Ken in their lives. While we will miss his presence, his joy, his kindness, and his laughter, we can find strength in knowing that he is no longer suffering and is at peace. He is in the arms of our Creator. We would ask that you would uplift Zodee and their children Clinton, Cameron, and Katie in your prayers during this time.
