Tulsa Camerata

Tulsa Camerata Tulsa's own chamber music ensemble, presenting enlightening concerts that blend classic masterworks and new discoveries.

Founded in 2010, Tulsa Camerata is a professional mixed-instrumentation chamber music ensemble dedicated to enriching the cultural life of our community through concerts that foster artistic excellence and innovation. Currently we perform a series of concerts in Patti Johnson Wilson Hall at the Philbrook Museum of Art. Our programs run the gamut from classic works by Mozart and Beethoven, to moder

n masterpieces by Stravinsky and Schoenberg, to contemporary and commissioned works by John Adams and Michael Daugherty. Moreover, Tulsa Camerata seeks to integrate the arts by partnering with other local organizations that share our vision of expanding the artistic possibilities within our community. We have previously collaborated with such groups as Portico Dans Theatre, Tulsa Opera, Living Arts of Tulsa, and Chamber Music Tulsa. Finally, we promote continued interest in chamber music as an art form through educational outreach activities for learners of all ages, including free performances at area schools, assisted living facilities and other underserved communities, as well as our annual Tulsa Young Chamber Artists Competition for area high school music students.
