Lifeship Suites provides safe, sober housing and trauma-informed support for individuals overcoming homelessness, addiction, and trauma.

Through faith and practical tools, we help residents heal, rebuild, and rediscover their identity and purpose. The Real Estate Ambassadors Institute, is the leading business school for Real Estate Development & Design, were we specialize in building people and transforming communities. SOMETIMES THE GREATEST MIRACLES DON’T HAPPEN IN A MOMENT. THEY HAPPEN ONE DECISION AT A TIME. ❤️🏆

Most people will never know the battles these women have fought. The nights when despair whispered louder than hope, or the tears, setbacks, grief, and moments when quitting seemed easier than continuing.

What they will see today are two women standing stronger, wiser, healthier, and more grounded in who Jesus Christ says they are.

Today, Lifeship Suites is honored to recognize two extraordinary women:

🌟 Ellen – Leadership Award (8+ Months)

🌟 Miracle – Overcoming Award (12+ Months)

These awards are not about perfection; they are about perseverance.

Leadership means continuing to show up, embrace accountability, pursue growth, and become an example even while healing.

Overcoming means refusing to stay down.

One of the most powerful things we’ve witnessed in both women is their commitment to the Word of Jesus Christ.

When their past, discouragement, or despair tried to define them, they turned to Scripture.

The 3D: From Distress to Success Model

That commitment reflects the journey we teach through our 3D: From Distress to Success model.

🔹 Decision — Choosing not to let pain have the final word.

🔹 Discovery — Learning who you truly are beyond trauma, addiction, failure, rejection, and loss.

🔹 Deliverance — Finding freedom when healed identity becomes stronger than wounded identity.

Every woman who walks through our doors arrives with a story.

Our goal is that she leaves with a testimony.

Today, Ellen and Miracle remind us that recovery is about more than abstinence, it is about transformation.

It is learning that your worst chapter is not your whole story and that what tried to break you can become what Jesus Christ uses to build you.

Not just for the months you’ve accumulated, but for the women you’ve become.

Today we pause to thank Jesus for His faithfulness and celebrate a major win. Tajai, congratulations on successfully completing your six-week Construction Trade Program!

This accomplishment represents more than completing a program. It represents strength, resilience, discipline, and growth. You showed up, put in the work, stayed committed, and crossed the finish line. That is something to be proud of.

We are proud of you because every step forward matters. Every accomplishment becomes another brick in the foundation of the future you are building for yourself and your family. Your past does not define your future, and your current season does not determine your final destination.

At Lifeship Suites, we believe healing is more than recovery. It is rebuilding lives, restoring purpose, and creating opportunities that impact generations. We are always here to support you and are excited to continue watching you propel yourself and your family toward greater purpose, stability, and success.

This birthday felt different.

Between handwritten cards, encouraging words, calls, messages, and the love shown by women I’ve poured into and walked alongside, I’ve been reminded of something important: healing leaves evidence.

Sometimes when you spend your life helping others, building, serving, advocating, housing, praying, mentoring, and carrying vision, you can get so busy pouring that you forget people are paying attention. But this weekend reminded me that love returns in ways you never expect.

One of the greatest gifts wasn’t money, food, or celebration. It was being seen. Being appreciated. Being reminded that the seeds planted in people matter.

Lifeship Suites was never just about housing. It has always been about hope, restored identity, second chances, sisterhood, and showing people they are not forgotten.

To everyone who called, texted, sent cards, prayed, celebrated, or loved on me thank you. You reminded me that even those who spend their lives encouraging others sometimes need encouragement too.

And to every woman in recovery: keep going. Your story matters. Your healing matters. Your life matters.

Healing doesn’t rent. It owns. 🤍

I just want to take a moment to publicly thank two incredible women who are making a daily impact on the hearts and healing of our Lifeship Suites residents. 💛

To Jennifer Brown, the amazing author of Manifesting Your Best Life Journal — your words have become more than just pages. They’ve become sacred spaces where our ladies are learning to dream again, reflect deeply, and speak life over themselves every day. Thank you for creating something so intentional, empowering, and full of light.

And to our very own Ms. Nisey, Lifeship suites dedicated Housing Coordinator : thank you for bringing this journal into our space and guiding the women with patience, strength, and compassion. The way you encourage them to show up for themselves, one page at a time, is beautiful to witness.

The ladies LOVE this journal and are truly using it as a tool for transformation. 📖💫

🌿 Collaboration That Heals 🌿

We want to extend our deepest thanks to Thrive Transitional Housing and our sister in the work, Melissa for thinking of us and referring such a beautiful soul to Lifeship Suites. 💚

She has been a breath of fresh air and a true asset to our home.

In this work, healing doesn’t happen in isolation it happens through connection. Strong transitional housing isn’t built on beds alone. It’s built through referrals, relationships, and trusted partnerships among sober living operators who believe in doing what’s best for each woman’s journey.

To the Body of providers doing this heart-work: Let’s keep networking. Let’s keep referring. Let’s keep sharing resources. Because when we move as one, our homes are stronger and our communities heal deeper.

We’re honored to be thought of and even more committed to doing the same. This is what friendship looks like in the recovery space. This is what unity looks like in action.
