The Wayman Tisdale Foundation

Wayman was a proud Sooner through and through. His love for OU extended far beyond the basketball court, and he would have been thrilled to see football season return.

He even had his prosthetic device customized to reflect his love for the University of Oklahoma, a fitting reminder of just how deeply that Sooner pride ran.

BOOMER SOONER! ❤️🤍

In 1984 at the Pan American Games, my dad, Wayman Tisdale shared the court with a young Michael Jordan. Jordan once said that Wayman’s presence helped him get through that moment in history.

My father wasn’t just part of greatness.
He poured into it.

His legacy isn’t only in the points he scored,
but in the lives he lifted.

Light. Legacy. Wayman Tisdale. 🙏🏾💙
