Today, as we celebrate 10 years of Teach Not Punish, we’re proud to introduce Joey — but you can call him “Joe” — the face of TNP to the 10th Power!

Joe represents the heart of our work: teaching, building trust, and helping children grow into their best selves.

Over the past 10 years, Teach Not Punish has:
💫Served 800+ students through classroom behavior support
💫Supported 300+ families through workshops, parenting resources, and community support
💫Engaged parents through structured workshops that equip them with tools to reinforce positive behavior at home
💫Partnered with 12+ schools
💫Equipped 120+ teachers with classroom management and trauma-informed strategies
💫Collaborated with mentors and volunteers to support student growth

Joe is more than a mascot — he’s a symbol of what happens when we choose to teach, guide, and equip.

DREAM Education Consulting has a powerful opportunity for Teach Not Punish youth - iThrive Empowered Minds, a program created specifically for young people ages 12 to 19 years who have at least one incarcerated parent. This program provides supportive spaces where youth can:

-Build emotional strength and resilience
-Connect with peers who understand their lived experiences
-Learn coping strategies and tools for stress, stigma, and family transitions
-Strengthen confidence, leadership, and academic well-being

TNP has only 10 available slots, and they will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our nation is in a fragile moment, and Oklahoma’s families feel it. At Teach Not Punish, we believe that the antidote to crisis is community, grounded in love, education, and emotional wellness.
