Tulsa. Have you heard the news? We’re breaking a world record. 🏆

Tomorrow Tulsa is celebrating 100 years of Route 66 with the Capital Cruise, a Guinness World Records attempt for the largest classic car parade ever. And the best part? The route runs right down 11th Street through the heart of the Meadow Gold District — aka our backyard. 🌟

Thousands of classic cars rolling right past our front door. It truly doesn’t get more Neon Quarter than this. 🧡

📍 The parade kicks off at 8AM tomorrow running from 11th & Yale to 11th & Denver.

Just a heads up to our neighbors — parking and traffic along 11th Street will be affected tomorrow so plan accordingly. Give yourself extra time and enjoy the show from the neighborhood.

Have you seen the giants on Route 66 yet? 👀

The Meadow Gold District is home to some of the most iconic larger than life statues in all of Tulsa and honestly they might be the coolest thing in our backyard. 🌟

Meet the crew:
🚀 Buck Atom the Space Cowboy and his 19 foot tall companion Stella Atom the Cosmic Cowgirl standing proud outside Buck Atom’s Cosmic Curios.

🪵 Meadow Gold Mack the Friendly Lumberjack towering in front of his namesake outpost just below the iconic Meadow Gold neon sign.

🤠 Cowboy Bob the newest giant on the block standing 20 feet tall outside Buck’s Vintage on 66 at the 66 Collective.

These massive fiberglass statues are part of what makes this stretch of Route 66 unlike anywhere else in the country. Tulsa is literally the Land of the Giants and it’s all within walking distance of the Neon Quarter. 📍

Western boots, belt buckles, bolo ties, pearl snaps and all the vintage vibes you didn’t know you needed. 🤠

Buck’s Vintage is a curated vintage shop now living inside the 66 Collective building, right across the street from Meadow Gold Mack’s and you absolutely cannot miss it. 20 foot tall Cowboy Bob stands right out front on Route 66 watching over the whole block. 🌟

Did you know the iconic Meadow Gold sign has been standing along Route 66 since 1934? 🌟

It went dark for decades, and the community fought to bring it back. Restored and re-lit in 2009 it now anchors one of Tulsa’s most exciting districts, right next door to the Neon Quarter!
