Tulsa Council of PTAs Support for the 2026 Tulsa Public Schools Bond

The officers and board of the Tulsa Council of PTAs are proud to express our support for the 2026 Tulsa Public Schools Bond election on April 7, 2026.

The 2026 Bond — with no increase to the current tax rate — includes four propositions that directly serve the more than 32,000 students and families in our community:

• Proposition 1 – Student Opportunities: Expands early childhood programs, strengthens curriculum in reading, math, and world languages, improves libraries and fine arts, and invests in career and college readiness.
• Proposition 2 – Safe Learning Environments: Addresses urgent facility needs — HVAC replacement, roof repairs, ADA upgrades, security improvements, and renovations at schools serving our children every day.
• Proposition 3 – Technology: Puts updated devices in students hands, strengthens cybersecurity, and improves systems that help teachers teach and families stay connected.
• Proposition 4 – Transportation: Replaces aging buses, upgrades fleet safety technology, and ensures students can get to school reliably.

PTA exists to make every child's potential a reality.

These investments — in safe buildings, quality instruction, modern technology, and reliable transportation — are exactly
the kind of foundation our children deserve.

We had a great night at the Tulsa Public Schools School Board Candidate Forums co-hosted by Tulsa Classroom Teachers Association, League of Women Voters of Tulsa, and our council!

Don't forget to vote August 7th for the school board elections in Districts 4 and 7 as well as the TPS Bond vote.
