Oklahomans for Equality (OkEq) is headquartered at the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center located at 621 E. 4th Street, in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma 74120. OkEq proudly owns this 18,000 square foot building, which is the 5th largest LGBT community center in America. Neill, as the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center, who founded the organization in 1980 as TOHR now known as Oklahomans for Equality (OkEq).

Oklahomans for Equality is the leading LGBT community organization in Northeast Oklahoma that offers programs, services and a safe place for all who are seeking equality. OkEq’s daily operations are overseen by a community elected Board of Directors, Advisors and Trustees, who employ an Executive Director and small paid staff who direct over 160 weekly volunteers. There are many programs and committees to join that focus on our mission statement and OkEq is always looking for talented people in the LGBT community to become part of this great leadership team. 🎹 A night of new music is coming to the Lynn Riggs Theatre

Join us October 22 for Barron Ryan and Friends, a free concert presented in partnership with Chamber Music Tulsa and Twisted Arts.

Local pianist and composer Barron Ryan will be joined by an ensemble of strings and percussion, performing selections from his new composition, *Twinkle Twinkle, 21, commissioned by Chamber Music Tulsa.

OKEQ Seniors is a daytime program for 2SLGBTQ+ elders. The program supports 2SLGBTQ+ elders and meets every Tuesday morning at 10:00 am at the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center.

Together with its members and allies, OKEQ Seniors works towards ensuring a high quality of life for older LGBT adults, advocating for their rights, and promoting positive images of 2SLGBTQ+ life in later years.
