This National Recovery Month, we're celebrating the people and relationships that make healing possible.

At John 3:16 Mission, our free 12-month residential recovery programs help men and women overcome addiction and address emotional, behavioral, spiritual, and psychological challenges. Through professional counseling, biblical therapeutic principles, and a supportive community, lives are transformed every day.

🔥 What a Friday night at Street Light Gang! 🔥

Over 85 kids and youth showed up ready for a night of food, games, fun, and faith at the FYC! 🎉🙌 But the greatest celebration was seeing several students say "yes" to Jesus and begin a new journey of faith. 🙏❤️

God is moving in powerful ways, and we couldn't be more excited about what He's doing in the lives of these young people. Let's keep praying for the next generation! ✨

Street Light Gang is happening TONIGHT starting at 6 p.m. at the John 3:16 Mission Family Youth Center ! 🎉

We’re excited to welcome dozens of kids and youth from our community for a night filled with food, faith and fun! It’s a night to build friendships, have a blast and, most importantly, hear about the hope we have in Jesus. 🩵

We’re praying for every young person who walks through our doors tonight, believing that God can use one night, one conversation and one moment to make an eternal impact. Doors open at 6 p.m.!

Our 20th Annual Shootout Against Hunger is coming up Friday, September 18, and we’re ready to make this year’s event our biggest impact yet!

Last year, this incredible community event helped provide more than 40,000 meals for our neighbors in need. This year, we’re aiming even higher. 🙌

There’s always a place for you at the Refuge. 🩵

Our residential recovery program alumni will always have a home in the community that helped them reclaim their lives. Recently, Michelle, a Renew program alumna, stopped by the Refuge to reconnect with the people who walked alongside her during her recovery journey.

We love when our alumni come back to visit, share what God is doing in their lives, celebrate breakthroughs and simply catch up. Their stories remind us that recovery doesn’t end when the program does. The relationships, community and hope continue.

🚚 You’ve probably seen our Mission Box Trucks around Tulsa. But did you know they’re a pretty important part of how we serve our community?

These trucks help us pick up donated food, clothing, household items and other essentials from generous businesses, churches and community partners. Those donations make their way to the people and programs that need them most. So when you see a Mission Box Truck out and about, know that it’s carrying more than donations. 🩵

🎉 We’re back! The first day of after-school programming at the John 3:16 Mission Family Youth Center is here!

Today marks the start of another year of learning, growing, building friendships, and discovering purpose for the children and youth in our community. 💙

For families, it means a safe place for their kids to go after school, caring adults who invest in them, opportunities to learn and grow, and a community that believes in their future. We’re so excited for another year at the FYC and all that God has in store! 🙌

🥵 Tulsa heat + summer days = sweaty clothes.

Did you know our Downtown Shelter has laundry facilities for guests staying overnight who need to wash their clothes? Guests can change into a clean pair of scrubs while their clothes are getting washed and dried.

It’s a simple thing, but having clean clothes can make a big difference. We’re glad we can offer a little comfort, dignity and care to our guests, especially during dangerous temperatures.

A big THANK YOU to our friends at Scheels for showing up for John 3:16 Mission once again! 👟👕 More than 26 boxes of shoes and clothing were donated to help serve our guests, students and neighbors in our community.

We’re so grateful for community partners who continue to step up and help meet real needs. Thank you, Scheels, for being part of the work of reclaiming lives and restoring hope! 🩵
