Hazeljane's Blessings Hazeljane’s Blessings is a small, foster based Italian Greyhound Rescue based in Tulsa, OK, Harrisburg, PA and Winston-Salem, NC.

Its run by Mags Lenertz and Bethany Pascoe. We are a 501 c3 public charity. We take in, pay all the vet bills for, bring back to health and re-home Italian Greyhounds in need. Usually, they need dental care, spay/neutering, all of their shots, and occasionally surgery for fractures, slipped patellas, skin cancers, etc.

Today Bowie went to the vet for his neuter. We got a phone call stating he also has a heart murmur and they want him to be seen by the specialty vet for his neuter.... and for good measures were also adding in a dental. We will need to continue to fundraiser to get some funds for all the kiddos surgeries.

So, now both little crested boys BOTH have significant heart murmurs and cannot be neutered until they have been seen by the specialty vets. Hazel the poodle Iggy needs a dental, Oreo needs some behavioral work. After a relatively quiet few years, we have 5 needy dogs all at one, and no funds. Please consider donating and enter to win a quilt, made by Mags. Bethany is going to post more photos of the dogs today and an update. Thank you!

Sorry for the delay on sharing Atticus' vet update from last friday. It wasnt great news but it also isn't the worst.

Our powder puff boy has a double ear infection. He also has a grade 4 heart murmur. His neuter is getting pushed back with a more knowledgeable vet that can observe him through the procedure and monitor his heart.

It truly takes a village to do everything we've been doing and we appreciate your help. Bowi, the hairy hairless boy, is getting his neuter tomorrow as long as he passes everything. Then later in the day Aurora, is going on for bloodwork and to see if we can schedule her dental. Please keep sharing and donating to help the kids in the rescue. It takes a village.

All donations will be entered for the quilt raffle.

One of our past winners, Frances Marion Chester, has recently inherited a whole lot of quilts. She reached out to offer this very lightly used quilt won a few years ago back to the rescue to be raffled again. It’s very large, approximately 96”x95” made and quilted by Maggie. Chester has agreed to ship it directly to the winner from Seattle.

Everyone who donated this year toward the Missouri dogs and the recent transport for Bridgett the scared Iggy is automatically entered.

Donations are cumulative for purposes of chances. One chance for $20. 3 for $50. 8 for $100.

All donations automatically entered.

We’ve had a flurry of activity. We have two little Chinese Cresteds with skin and ear issues. Who also need neutering. Also Aurora, who needs a growth removal and dental, Hazel, the senior Poodle/Iggy cross who needs a dental and Oreo, who needs some behavioral work. If you are able to donate, please do. If not, please share!

Good morning fellow villagers! Don't be fooled by how quiet its been... its just because I (Bethany) have TO MANY dogs! I'll start sharing them soon. However, we have a current medical issue. Atticus, the one year old powder puff, Chinese Crested that came in has a pretty nasty ear infection. Can we get some help with donations so we can get him to the vet to get treated?

He and his cohort our scheduled for their shots on Saturday and then the neuters are next Thursday. In order to get the neuter we have to get this infection under control.

If we can get 100 people to donate even $5 it'll be a huge help. We currently have 8 dogs in the rescue. Some adoptable, some not.
