Go Laura!!

Join us as we welcome Dr. Laura Garrett, educator, speaker, and Rotary leader, for an engaging and insightful program focused on leadership, service, and understanding the generations we serve.

Dr. Garrett is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Tulsa Community College and a Volunteer Community Educator for the Oklahoma Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. She is widely recognized for her expertise in aging, generational issues, volunteerism, and community engagement.

A third-generation Rotarian, Dr. Garrett will serve Rotary District 6110 as District Governor (2026–2027). Her Rotary leadership includes serving as District Youth Protection Officer, facilitator on the District Visioning Team, and Secretary of the Alzheimer’s/Dementia Rotary Action Group. She has also represented Rotary on national and international stages, including presentations at Rotary International in Houston and the RI Zone Conference in Columbus, Ohio.

Whether your interests include psychology, leadership, service, healthcare, or community impact, this promises to be a meaningful and thought-provoking program.

Will Rogers Rotary Club of Tulsa was happy to conclude the school year at Will Rogers High School by awarding the Staff and Student of the 4th Quarter. Honorees were Senior Ethan Josefchuk and Staff member Jodi King.

Ethan is known for being responsible and dependable and for demonstrating the highest standards of citizenship. He serves as Student Council President and works hard in his role to make sure that every student at Rogers feels represented and appreciated.

Jodi King is a rock for many of our students. Not only does she tutor students, but she is also there for students as an emotional aide. She is selfless, spending many nights attending workshops or back-to-school nights and helping guide our next batch of TCC students and families through the application process. She has a terrific work ethic, and others strive to be more like her every day.

Our club congratulates these individuals as well as all of the Will Rogers Class of 2026. We wish you all the best!
