Today, we join Saint Francis Health System and our community in remembrance of June 1, 2022.

As we reflect on this day, we honor the lives lost, the courage shown in the face of tragedy, and the resilience that continues to unite our healthcare community.

On June 1, we remember a day when Saint Francis was forever changed by a devastating act of violence. As we reflect, we remain committed to healing, compassion and the unwavering support of one another.

Together, we honor, we remember and we stand Saint Francis strong. đź’—

Happy Mother’s Day

Today we celebrate the incredible women who give so much of themselves—through love, strength, patience, and care.

To every mother, grandmother, and mother figure: thank you for the countless ways you show up each day. Your impact is felt in more ways than you know, and the love you give helps shape the lives around you.

We are honored to have been recognized as the 2025 Champion of the Uninsured by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma and The Oklahoma Caring Foundation.

This honor reflects the impact of Project TCMS and those who connect uninsured Tulsa County patients to necessary specialty care.

We are grateful to everyone who makes this mission possible and proud to serve our community.

Today, the Oklahoma House of Representatives is expected to vote on HB 4063 — a bill that would place a voter referendum on the August 25 ballot to remove Medicaid Expansion language from the Oklahoma Constitution.

If passed, HB 4063 would allow the legislature to make future changes to Medicaid Expansion without direct voter approval, including potential funding cuts.

Medicaid Expansion was approved by Oklahoma voters in 2020. At a time when many hospitals, providers, and health systems are already under financial pressure, this proposal raises serious concerns about the future stability of health care access in our state.

Why this matters now:

* More than 1 million Oklahomans rely on SoonerCare for health coverage, including many children and families.
* Reduced funding could place additional strain on hospitals, clinics, and providers.
* Changes to coverage and access to care would have ripple effects across communities statewide.
* The August runoff election typically sees lower voter turnout, making this timing especially significant.

If you believe voters should retain a voice in the future of Medicaid Expansion, now is the time to contact your State Representative and urge them to vote NO on HB 4063.

Find your Representative here:
https://www.oklegislature.gov/findmylegislature.aspx

Then call the House switchboard and ask for them by name: (405) 521-2711

The vote is expected today, and immediate outreach could make a difference.

Today we remember the anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing — a day that changed Oklahoma forever. We honor the 168 lives lost, the survivors, the families who continue to carry this loss, and the first responders whose courage met an unimaginable tragedy.

From heartbreak came strength, compassion, and unity. Oklahoma showed the world what it means to stand together and keep moving forward.

We remember by choosing kindness, serving others, and never forgetting.

Today is National Clean Out Your Medicine Cabinet Day—a simple step that can make a powerful impact on our community.

Through the Tulsa County Medical Society Foundation’s Drug Recycling Program, unused medications are given a second chance to help those in need - safely and legally.

Cleaning out your medicine cabinet isn’t just about organization, it’s about:
• Preventing misuse and accidental harm
• Protecting our environment
• Supporting programs that help others access critical medications
