Little Blue House at the University of Tulsa Inclusive, interfaith, safe space for all students at TU. We focus on social justice for all!

At the LBH, we help students find a place to belong, encourage them to believe in something larger than themselves, and help them gain the leadership skills they need to build a just and inclusive community in Tulsa and in the wider world. LBH is a “ministry of inclusion” meaning that we believe everyone is a child of God and all are welcome regardless of faith tradition, race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, ability, or background. We also welcome those who identify as “spiritual but not religious,” and those who don’t identify religiously at all. Social Media Policy:

This page is intended to provide updates about LBH at TU. Because we want to create a safe space for community conversations, we welcome your comments but ask that you abide by the following guidelines:

--We support the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities and related Facebook policies, and we expect visitors to our page to do the same
--We will reply to comments/questions when appropriate and when time allows
--Questions can also be directed to our director at [email protected]
--Posts containing spam or that are abusive, profane, or defamatory toward a person, entity, belief, or symbol will be removed

We’re thrilled to announce a grant we’ve received from the Oklahoma Disciples Foundation to support interfaith programming at TU. For our first event, the Little Blue House and PLUS+ at the Tulsa Wesley Foundation Tulsa Wesley Foundation are collaborating to buy tickets for anyone interested in attending the Jennifer Knapp concert at Belafonte Belafonte next Friday, October 9, at 7pm. Known for hits like “Undo Me” and “A Little More,” Knapp was one of the first Contemporary Christian musicians to come out publicly, thus paving the way for others to embrace their faith and queerness in tandem. As a founder of Inside Out Faith, whose mission is to promote LGBTQ+ inclusion within faith communities, Knapp has cultivated spaces that encourage people to take pride in their authentic selves. Her latest albums are Resonant (2025) and Kansas 25 (2024). For anyone interested, we’ll go out for Empire Pizza afterward. Please send your RSVP to Jadyn Fording and/or Prof. McLaughlin by Monday at 5pm, and let us know if you need transportation. We hope you’ll be able to join us!
