Join Lenda Hand CanFoundation tomorrow at Roberts Park for the Back to School Bash for kids with sickle cell! We'll be distributing hygiene bags to all students, children and youth attending! Make sure your students start school so fresh and so clean as part of our Suds for Success Program!

Lenda Hand CanFoundation is proud to sponsor Hale Middle School with hygiene products for all their students for the 2026-2027 school year! Our goal is to make a positive impact on student attendance, grades and test scores as part of our Suds for Success Program. We're combating the effects of hygiene poverty on the estimated 20,002 economically disadvantaged (at or below poverty level) students enrolled in Tulsa Public Schools and the estimated 3000 unhoused students. With adequate access to personal hygiene items, our goal is to reduce the instances of chronic absenteeism, bullying, and social isolation that occur, encouraging our youth to continue and complete their educational journey and vocational/job skills training. Oklahoma's educational system is ranked 49th/50th so there's lots of room for improvement!

Back to School Night 2026/2027

Families - please make a point to come to our back to school night from 5:00pm-7:30pm on Monday August 17th! You can pick up your students schedule, visit their teachers and sign up for all activities!
