What a gift it was to gather for our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner and celebrate the incredible people who help carry out the mission of Catholic Charities every day.

Our volunteers serve in kitchens, warehouses, outreach centers, classrooms, clinics and so many places in between. They offer more than their time — they offer compassion, dignity, hospitality and Christ’s merciful love to our neighbors in need.

This year, we were honored to recognize Mark Ballew, George Simmons, and Gina Nill and her family as our 2025–26 Volunteers of the Year. Their service is a beautiful reflection of the heart we see in so many of our volunteers.
