🎃🍂 Fall fun, free resources, and Halloween costumes for little ones! 🎃🍂

Join us for Emergency Infant Services’ 4th Annual Fall Fair on Wednesday, October 14 from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. at TCC Northeast!

This FREE community event is designed especially for families with children ages 5 and under. Families can pick out Halloween costumes for their little ones, connect with local organizations, and find helpful resources focused on maternal and childhood health — all while enjoying food, activities, and family fun!

❤️🏡 LOVE THEM BIG, LEAD THEM WELL! 🏡❤️

Being a parent means being your child's safe place, biggest supporter, AND guide. 💕

Our children need to know they are loved, heard, and valued, but they also need to understand that parents are there to lead, guide, and set healthy boundaries.

✨ It's okay to say NO.
✨ It's okay to set rules and expectations.
✨ It's okay for your child to feel disappointed when things don't go their way.
✨ And it's always okay to show love while holding your boundaries.

Remember, being the parent doesn't mean you have to be harsh. You can be gentle and still be firm. You can listen to your child's feelings while still making the final decision.

Ser padre o madre significa ser el lugar seguro de tu hijo, su mayor apoyo Y su guía. 💕

Nuestros hijos necesitan saber que son amados, escuchados y valorados, pero también necesitan entender que los padres están ahí para liderar, guiar y establecer límites saludables.

✨ Está bien decir que NO.
✨ Está bien establecer reglas y expectativas.
✨ Está bien que tu hijo se sienta decepcionado cuando las cosas no salen como él quiere.
✨ Y siempre está bien demostrar amor mientras mantienes los límites.

Recuerda: ser padre o madre no significa que debas ser duro. Puedes ser amable y, aun así, firme. Puedes escuchar los sentimientos de tu hijo y, al mismo tiempo, tomar la decisión final.

Meet Haley, the newest community partner at the PRC. 💚

Haley is staffed with the Tulsa Health Department and Connect First. Here's what she would like you to know.

💚 My favorite color is green.

🔎 Interesting fact: I can turn a simple question into an entire research project.

🐶 I'm married and have two dogs that I like to talk about any chance I get. I'm passionate about connecting families with resources and services that they may not know are available to them. In my role, I'm able to meet families where they are and help set them up for future success.

¡Conoce a Haley, la nueva socia comunitaria del Parent Resource Center (PRC)! 💚

Haley trabaja con el Departamento de Salud de Tulsa (Tulsa Health Department) y Connect First. Esto es lo que ella quiere que conozcan sobre ella:
