WATCH: Mayor Shuts Down Free Speech and Walks Out on Citizens — Sapulpa City Council Meeting Exposed
This video shows exactly what happened when I tried to speak at the Sapulpa City Council meeting.
At the :39 second mark, the mayor himself says that public comment is for anyone to speak on anything not already on the agenda — which is exactly what I was doing.
But the moment I began addressing his ongoing pattern of retaliation, constitutional violations, and corruption, he began interrupting me nonstop. I couldn’t even finish saying my full name and address for the record before he cut me off — and he continued cutting me off the entire time. I didn’t get the full two minutes I was allegedly allowed. And later, the City Attorney/Prosecutor said I should’ve had three minutes — but I wasn’t given even one minute of protected time to speak.
That’s retaliation — and retaliation is illegal.
Then after the mayor walked out, the City Prosecutor, who also acts as the City Attorney, stayed behind — not to protect my rights or to correct the mayor — but to mock me, lie to me, and mislead the public. He said I was speaking at the “wrong time” — even though the mayor already stated the purpose and I was clearly within those guidelines.
Then he refused to tell me where or how I was supposed to speak out. That’s obstruction, and it’s a violation of my rights as a U.S. citizen and a taxpayer.
He is paid by the people. But instead of defending our rights, he defended corruption.
