Tulsa FOP 93 Auxiliary President, KaSandra Newman, was recently involved in a horrific rollover accident. She remains in the ICU with critical injuries, and while her prognosis is hopeful, her recovery will be long and arduous.

Her husband, Tulsa Police Officer, Trent Newman, along with their children Hadley and Karson, have been at her side since the moment she arrived at the hospital.

We are calling on our tradition of “passing the hat” to support KaSandra and her family. Their needs are significant as they need help with gas, lodging, and the medical expenses they will face in the months ahead.

Please consider donating and showing the Newman family the strength of our blue family, and that we truly “Never Let them Walk Alone.” Every contribution makes a difference.

TPD Graduation Class 131

During the TPD Graduation for Class 131, the Tulsa FOP Auxiliary had the honor of presenting the Jared Shoemaker Top Scholar and Top Marksman awards to two outstanding graduates.

We're thrilled to have also gifted each graduate with a special Auxiliary Challenge Coin – a tangible reminder of our motto:
"Never Let Them Walk Alone”.

Every time a new class is sworn in, hearing their oath – including the powerful words
"with my life if need be" – truly puts the dangers they face into perspective. Yet, they step up with unwavering courage and commitment.

These men and women are the heartbeat of our community, and we're so grateful for their service.

OFFICER APPRECIATION

Please join us in congratulating Officer Basham, who was nominated and voted as the Officer of the Month for August for the Tulsa Police Gilcrease Division.

Officer Basham is recognized for his role in arresting a wanted suspect, Darrell Benson, last month. Benson led Officers on a pursuit and was arrested for kidnapping, among other charges, after he refused to let a woman out of the car.

Our Tulsa FOP Auxiliary 93 Delegates and Oklahoma State FOP Auxiliary Delegates had an incredible week during National Conference in Miami Beach connecting with Auxiliaries from across the nation, sharing ideas, and bringing home fresh inspiration to better serve our members and communities. 💙

From impactful training sessions to networking with fellow law enforcement families, every moment strengthened our mission and our bond. We’re proud to represent Tulsa and Oklahoma on the national stage and are excited to put these ideas into action!🫶🏻
